New Kit! Very excited by my latest purchase. Today I bought a Pendant Drill from S&M Tools in Hatton Garden. Thanks to Laura of LaParra Jewels for the tip. When looking around at various drills I thought I'd have to spend around £250 - £350 for a basic model, but this one was only £99 + £25 for a heavy duty stand. It come's with a wall-hook attachment but that wouldn't work with my set up. The hand piece ('drill holdy bit' for those of you who need the technical term) has a quick release chuck system, so no messing about trying to find the correct collet - pure bliss! Oh and it comes with a 1 year guarantee. So, I have to seriously recommend S&M Tools. I've spent a small fortune there in recent years - because they have a great range of low to mid budget tools at really reasonable prices. The owners are quirky, friendly and a little eccentric, in the nicest possible way.
