Here's some rough drafting things with absolutely no context.

Another falsehood. You comment on how you enjoy my desire to keep you to myself regularly. - Lo
Should I take off my pants to make it up to you? - Re

no story. vibes only.
(except there is a story.
the story of a disabled non-binary person who people have tried to push out of fashion and writing and meaningful work ever since their accident. a person who deals with chronic pain but loves to look good. a person who goes out knowing that the way they look means that abled-bodied people (and sometimes other disabled people) will see their presentation and think that they can’t possibly be in the kind of pain that requires a handicap parking spot and a cane, and those things should be reserved for “real” disabled people.
the story is of thriving in spite of bigotry. of being un-apologetically themself. Of refusing to be kept down by the ableist society they lived within.
the story is one of gnashing teeth and perfectly painted claws and the emotional thrashing of people who liked to pretend they were bigger than they were and ended up on the wrong side of someone who walked with a bigger stick.
the story never ends. even if it softens a bit with a kind-eyed barista who thought too highly of the world. even if they can put their claws away and they don’t have to bare their teeth. things change, but never as much as they should. and so they keep their fangs and nails and lashing tongue and they cut down so many ignorant people that they earn a reputation, but they come home and someone loves them and wraps them up in warm hugs and kisses them hello like he’s been looking forward to it all day, and the story doesn’t end, except it does, for you and me. the screen fades to black and we’re left knowing that the two of them are happy, in spite of everything that doesn’t want them to be.)

Remus - Transfem
Gender comes for Remus in the spaces between the binary. What They know is They are not a boy. They’re not a girl. They’re more a girl than they are a boy, but they’re not a girl.
Gender comes with the feeling of wearing a dress and a mustache and pretty green lipstick and telling a man with a stick up his ass to suck her dick in the most feminine tone she has. Gender is proud cleavage some days and binding others. Gender is letting her snake of a boyfriend call her every name under the sun except girlfriend. Watching other people try to figure her out. Refusing to explain her presence or her presentation to anyone who asks.
Gender is anything outside of what is accepted by the family members who tried to mold her into a perfect son. Refusing to be binary no matter how hard she’s pushed. Not performing femininity and just being fem, at the very center of her being, not caring if it’s pretty to the outside world. Too many layers and clothes that don’t look right to others but feel right to her. to Them. In this moment on this planet They are irrevocably Themselves.

Pen pals, too far apart to meet easily. But so so easily loved.
Maybe Roman is an stage actor and Virgil is a poet and they bond over literature but it turns into… more.
