So craziest thing happened today…..
I was walking along 45th St today just moseying along, listening to and singing along with “Today My Life Begins” by Bruno Mars looking at all the Broadway signs, imagining myself working there, my name on all the signs, and my eventual stardom.
As I was walking along, I walked through a film set that hadn’t started filming yet, there were a lot of people just chilling on the sidewalk and as I walked past them they all looked at me and just smiled. Here I’m thinking, well look at this friendly block….. lol
I visit the Al Gershwin Theater to just check out where I saw my first Broadway play, kinda lollygagged around for a bit, and then headed back down 45th st.
So I’m walking along, still singing to myself, I look down at my phone to change the song and I look up and almost run into this woman wearing all red, I paused, looked up, this lady smiled at me and I smiled back and said Hi. I keep walking and about 5 seconds later, my head pops up and I’m like, “oh shit, that was Lea Michele” hysterical
I went and got a cup of coffee and decided to back track to watch the filming from across the street.
The scene that she was doing, was the EXACT thing I was doing, walking down the street singing and looking at all the Broadway signs with dreams blooming in her eyes.
Might be super coincidental, but I never believed in coincidences. Huge sign from the universe that I’m so much closer to my dream now than I ever have been. Ridiculously amped and inspired.
