Me & my new crew! Mama + Koa + Sunny. We made it to the 3 month mark! I won’t lie the no sleep thing is bloody brutal since I haven’t had a newborn for almost 7 years. Having babies closer together wasn’t my journey but I see how it could be easier to get all the nappy changes, no sleep and being a zombie thing over and done with over a few crazy and intense years! This time around I’ve done things differently. I don’t care about the washing or the dishes. I just care Sunny and I have eaten, slept and are happy. I don’t care about getting my body back as quick as I can or about the new stretch marks. I’m just so much more relaxed and aware and know what’s truly important. I’ll never have another baby so this time I’m taking in ALL the moments good and bad. Knowing everything is temporary and constant changing. I haven’t wished for any milestones I know they will happen as they are meant too.
