In the aftermath of the confession™, Renata finally let herself feel something on the beach. It is quite the explosion and Madeline is there to collect the pieces.

Ok, so, I wrote this like, two months ago, right after I finished binging the two seasons of BLL in two days. It took me ages to post it tho, because I wasn't satisfied with it at first and then I started uni again and well, we all know how the song goes ^^

I just needed to explore how Renata dealt with everything after the finale because god, the last episode was just using her like a punching ball and we didn't even get to see the aftermath. I also needed to explore a bit more Madeline and Renata's friendship and dynamic because the one they have at the end of season 2 is so radically different from season 1, it fascinates me. And so, this fic was born! I hope you'll like it as much as I liked writing it ;)
