’Twas the night before Christmas in the X-Mansion,
Madeline crept down with quiet compassion.
Her golden hair shimmered in soft moonlight,
As she tiptoed past shadows, heart full of delight.
With teddy in hand and her pillow so bright,
She carried her blanket, all ready for night.
Her green eyes sparkled, her dimples a grin,
As she sought out the tree where the magic begins.
Beneath the twinkling lights, she curled up tight,
Waiting for Santa to visit that night.
The world seemed so still, the stars shining clear,
As Madeline whispered, “He’ll be coming here!”
And there she fell asleep, with dreams full of cheer,
Under the tree, awaiting his sleigh drawing near.

Since Marvel released an X-Men ‘97 themed yule log on their YouTube channel, I decided to add Maddie to the background and as you can see here, she had snuck downstairs to see Santa come down the chimney only to fall asleep shortly afterwards.
I had so much fun making this drawing and adding all sorts of fun little details to it as well!
