“you  ever  think  this  whole  thing  is  gonna  fuck  us  up  someday?”  can  barely  see  anything  beyond  the  smoke,  body  sprawled  out  on  some  wrinkled  sheets,  feet  dangling  off  the  edge  he  could  barely  even  fit  on  anymore.  life  didn't  exist  in  here  —  that  was  the  lie  he  sold  himself  on.  free  to  get  wrapped  up  in  the  wrong  person,  tangled  up  and  limbs  weighing  each  other  down.  make  a  few  mistakes  and  lie  his  way  out  of  any  consequences.  yell,  scream,  let  everything  out  in  this  room  until  it  was  so  suffocated  with  feeling  neither  could  breathe.  “feel  like  we  bring  out  the  worst  out  in  each  other.”

“seat  taken?”  a  question  that  isn't  so  much  one  she  wants  an  answer  for,  slides  onto  the  chair  anyway.  skirt  that's  too  short  is  riding  up,  hair  is  tussled  from  the  race  —  all  dolled  up  to  be  nothing  special  by  the  end.  her  ride  is  rear  ended  four  minutes  in,  bumper  dragging  onto  the  ground,  hot  pink  paint  job  scraped  up  into  bits  on  the  road.  she's  pretty  pissed,  which  is  nothing  new.  fortunately,  she's  eye  candy always helped with a sour mood.  “buy  me  a  drink.”
