since being up in space, raven hadn’t actually gotten to know echo a lot. they barely talked since even before they arrived up here. concern for the other woman was definitely a factor, and raven found herself outside of her quarters. she wasn’t sure if she should knock or not, but she does so, knowing herself that she wanted to make sure echo was okay. “hey.” she calls out, once she had tapped on the door. “don’t mean to bother you.” she kind of does. “just want to make sure you’re alright in there. barely see you around.”

“I’m sure there are other places on this moon we could settle.” They could get as far away as they could from these people if they wanted to. Coexisting wouldn’t be a problem then. Going back up in that ship of theirs and just refreezing--it couldn’t have been a real option anymore. Not now that everyone was waking up and smelling the air on this planet...moon.

i don’t think i could even do that because they’re so messy and unorganisd and ahhhhhh
“She was all I had. For six years.” She’s not sure what prompts her to share with the other girl. They’re not exactly friends. But there’s not a lot to do up here while they wait to figure out their next step. And staring at the cryo pods that still hold so many of their people, she can’t help but get a bit reflective. “I know shes’ not mine. But...she is. All I ever wanted was to keep her safe.”
