oh oh oh okay! Actually, if this is Voltron, Pidge is revealed to be a girl, but it's heavily implied that they're actually nonbinary! They actually have a nonbinary bathroom joke in one of the episodes where they can't decide which to go to (I mean, it's alien bathrooms, but choosing the heavily nonbinary coded character to play that joke is!!! idk, just a lot of feelings about nonbinary Pidge)

So ... we’re back to this show having no women then, and me being pissed off that the people who created this show apparently think it’s okay for women to have no meaningful contribution to saving the universe.

Like I’m sorry I want to be excited about a nonbinary character but from what you’re teling me this nonbinary character isn’t even canon?? IT’S JUST SHITTY QUEERBAITING???? Just another way for the garbage men who wrote this show to say “sure a girl can be part of saving the universe but only if we make shitty jokes about how un-girly she is the whole time” NO FUCKING THANK YOU

mmmm, that’s definitely fair. Allura is another girl on the team, but 1-2 girls is still not a lot on of a team made up of 7 people. Sorry, I get ahead of myself sometimes cus I really like cartoons and get excited at possible nonbinary coding. ;; With that though! Voltron has been working through the series to leave Pidge’s identity open to interpretation.

1) Allura is not on the team. The grown woman character who stands at the sidelines and organizes things while a group of non-women have coming of age stories and battle villains in giant robots is not "on the team" she's the mom. That's the mom character. The one whose job it is to "help the actual heroes learn how to be heroes and grown-ups" and I'm really tired of this being sugarcoated like you think for 1 episode 3 seasons in she gets to have 1 day that's "all about her" and that somehow negates her entire general arc or somehow makes this less of a show by sexist boys for sexist boys to pat themselves on the back.

2) Literally every thing you tell me about the show makes me hate it more please stop fucking talking about it please just go away stop talking about it just stop stop stop stop stop I thought I made it really clear I was done in the last round of "stop telling me about your sexist show" BUT YOU JUST KEEP GOING JUST FUCKING STOP TALKING ABOUT THIS SHOW EVERY WORD YOU SAY MAKES ME HATE IT MORE STOP

I don’t know how to say this more clearly. As a nonbinary person, the idea of living in a universe where my only close friends are cis boys and the only significant woman in my life is a mom-archetype is viscerally upsetting to me. Maybe that sounds like good to representation to you but to me that sounds like actual hell and I hate it and I don’t want to hear about it.

If you get a small bucket and fill it a bit with sugar water, cover the top with plastic wrap and poke little holes in the top, it’ll do a good job of catching them (it sounds weird but it works alright)

So I think I may have traumatized Cloud by trimming his nails... he gets bath tomorrow so that he'll be ready for our flight on Wednesday, maybe I'll wait to do it until Monday so that he has at least a day between each trauma?

Tomorrow I fly out to Virginia to get my baby boy back! I want to thank everyone that has made this possible! Especially madeupofnothings for taking care of him for me while I couldn't and for helping me fly out there! Without you, I have no idea where my baby would be. Without you for all I know he would be dead right now. I can never repay you for all that you've done for me. I stilll think that it's pretty funny that a Tim stepped up for him since his brothers name is also Tim. The next time I'm able to, I plan on having the two of them play together again.
