Acrylic on canvas... Macaw - are not only one of the most colourful and beautiful birds, but are very intelligent and emotional too!! One of the most bothering fact is that all the species of macaws fall under one of the categories of either being threatened, critically endangered or extinct 😟😤...This is mainly because of illegal bird trade... Since it is very hard to breed these birds, eggs are take from the wild and are being smuggled👎👎... Trying out Starry Night by Vincent Van Gogh... Van Gogh is one of my favourite artists - and this painting is one of his masterpieces. Short painterly brushstrokes, the focus on the moon, different representation of the celestial bodies and fully expressive sky above a calm village makes this painting beauty in itself. It took a lot of time and patience to finish this painting, but I felt very grateful after seeing the finished piece of work.
