Have this no makeup/no filter selfie of me at the ice rink yesterday because I have exciting news to share: I’m officially starting ice skating lessons in two weeks! Something I’ve been wanting to do since I was 10 years old! Something I’ve never had the time/money/motivation to do until now! I can’t even express how excited I am, if you look at my Instagram stories or you’ve spent time with me in the past couple months you know I’ve been incapable of shutting the fuck up about ice skating, it feels so good to be able to put my money where my mouth is. I look forward to sharing this journey with y'all 💙⛸
it's been over a month and I've been consistently skating at least once a week if not more, this is the most on-track I've been with exercise in years, and it feels damn good 🙏
When u don't skate other than lessons for like a month and a half and then wonder why ur ankles hurt so bad once u get back to it
I didn’t fall once when I ice skated today, and I’m getting better at gliding on one leg 🙏 Also I’m quietly making a resolution to skate once a week now that I’m 2/2
