7, 16, 25, & 30 for the character asks! (I feel like I already asked, but that may be because I've been asking everyone everything lately :P)

7. How do they physically engage with other people, inanimate objects, and their environment? What causes the differences between these?

With other people: unless he trusts you, don’t. You’ll stay intact longer. He doesn’t like to be touched by those he doesn’t know, and will snap and get violent if his personal space is not respected.

Inanimate objects: It depends on what it is. Something like a weapon or a wall? He has no problems. Furniture? He’s going to avoid that shit like the plague because it usually breaks when he’s around.

His environment: He’ll lean against a wall or something similar no problem, but he hates tight spaces and will do his best to avoid them.

16. Do they dream? What are those dreams like?

Yes. Almost every time he falls asleep, he dreams. Usually, it’s about fighting -- he’s constantly twitching and growling in his sleep, going after enemies only he can see. Most frequently it’s the Kor’kron slavers under Garrosh. His capture back in Zul’Drak occasionally plays a role, as well, and those are some of his most restless nights. He’s only ever been woken up by his dreams a few times, each leaving him in a rage.

25. What do they need and want out of relationships, and how do they go about getting it?

This is hard, because it’s not something he really gives thought to. He needs someone to legitimately care about him, first and foremost, but he wants someone that isn’t afraid to speak their mind. If he’s out of line, he doesn’t want his significant other to be afraid of telling him so. As he puts it -- he likes someone ‘with fight in them.’ He wants someone that will love him, and accept his love in return -- however gruesome and bloody the gifts he brings home can be.

30. What is their preferred level of activity and stimulation? How do they cope if they get either too little or too much?

Kal likes to stay active -- as long as it’s not super hot outside. The warmer it is, the lazier he gets, but he’ll be restless the whole while. When in the cold he’s like an excited puppy, taking off after this and that with seemingly no time to even take a breath! But he still does get tired after a while, and the solution to that is him just flopping down where he is and taking a nap. (And yes, it’s usually in the most inconvenient place he can find.)

1. How do they move and carry themselves? Pace, rhythm, gestures, energy?

Kal is very deliberate in most of his movements. Sometimes high energy, sometimes not, but unless he’s just out and out raging they’re always thought out. He carries himself with pride, but the typical hunched posture of a troll didn’t pass him by. Especially with his height, and how small everything is. His pace is steady -- probably best described as lumbering -- and as far as gestures, he doesn’t really ‘talk with his hands’ or anything like that. His ears express more than even his facial features do -- they’re probably the single part of him that moves the most.

2. How much physical space do they use, active and at rest?

In both situations: as much as he can possibly take up. While active he’s likely swinging a weapon or his tusks around, snarling and hunching to scare someone off, or similar aggressive behaviors. Especially if he feels like someone is approaching with ill intent towards himself (or, heavens forbid, Roscoe) he’ll be quick to give a warning, and bluff-charge if you don’t back off. If a bluff doesn’t get your attention, he doesn’t take long to escalate to actually charging you. And that’s bad, let’s not do that.

3. How do they position themselves in a group? Do they like to be the center of attention, or do they hang back at the edges of a crowd?

He definitely stays at the back. He doesn’t have problems seeing over anyone, and it’s far easier for him. He would much rather avoid getting stared at, thanks.

4. What is their size and build? How does it influence how they use their body, if it does?

In a word: huge. If his spine is straight he’s damn near 11 feet tall, and he’s got a thick, bulky frame typical of Drakkari trolls. He’s not particularly toned like someone that goes to the gym all the time, but don’t let that fool you -- he’s still extremely strong. Most of the bulk is muscle, with a bit of fat and fur to insulate against the cold (he still isn’t used to the warmer climates, and overheats easily).

5. How do they dress? What styles, colors, accessories, and other possessions do they favor? Why?

He doesn’t really....dress much at all, honestly. A leather harness and simple breeches are what he’s normally wearing when not expecting a fight. If there’s some sort of thing planned and he knows there’s going to be battle, he’ll done his heavy plate -- stuff that had to be made custom in order to actually fit. Tauren are roughly a similar size and shape, but with their hooves and legs being different not everything of theirs would work. He favors earthy tones, like browns and greens, and some of his favorite possessions are small carved pieces of ivory, a ‘lucky rabbit’s foot’ that he keeps with him because it reminds him of Roscoe, and his weapons.

28. Has your OC been present for Thrall’s reign as War chief? How do they feel about Garrosh Hellscream? 

Viscaria was not present, she was in Pandaria during the time Thrall was warchief, and before then she had been in slavery since five years old. During Garrosh’s terror she was out doing her own thing after recovering enough to rejoin the world.

29. Have they ever experienced a culture shock when the Darkspear joined the horde? Are they more welcoming of other cultures? Are there any particular customs of other races they find strange?

Mal’ghan experienced culture shock when he joined he dark spear! He was a part of a small exclusive tribe as a young man, but they were on the way to destruction and opted to be assimilated into the Darkspear. Now, his ‘tribe’ was very aggressive and defensive, and very much so “everyone for themselves” because of the harsh areas they lived in, so coming into an area where Trolls were more capable of banding together and cooperating, being a community and whatnot made him feel ridiculously out of place. But he did have a wife and son he wanted to keep safe so he tried to adjust.

30. How did they feel about Vol'jin’s reaction to Garrosh? Did they view it as a rash decision, or did they think Vol'jin was justified?

Shen’ahjen was absolutely on Vol’jin’s side. I mean, Garrosh did try to MURDER THE TROLL RACIAL LEADER BECAUSE HE WAS AGAINST ALL THE NEEDLESS VIOLENCE. Besides, I feel like Shen was always had an off feeling about that orc, past experiences with aggressive men made him very good at picking up on bad vibes…

31. What is your OCs opinion of the Horde? What do they think of their current warchief? How did they react to the news of Vol’jin’s death?

Azitish appreciates how the Horde is very accepting of the outcast races. And the fact that they’ve stayed strong after so much shit makes him think that it’s a good faction to be in. Mal’ghan is less appreciative of the diverse races, he can’t help but only see the bad qualities in them all and thinks the Horde should be more strict about who they let in.

All the trolls were shocked at hearing their warchief was killed by some damn fel poisoning of all things, they are fully convinced there was a way to save him. Vi is less shocked considering she never really had much connection to the Darkspear. Mal’ghan was furious at the other leaders for letting him die so easily, blaming them all in different ways for his death.

No one really trusted the idea that Sylvanus would prove to be a good warchief considering how she treated the Horde up to the current point in time, but they call her by her official title as a sign of respect. Mal’ghan still calls her Banshee Queen instead, still an official title said with respect, but he isn’t so keen on calling her warchief yet.

32. How strong of a fighter is your OC? Are they honorable in a fight? Do they live up to the cunning and cruel troll stereotype? What weapons do they use?

Zuvashi is skilled as a shaman and partially as a druid thanks to his mother. He mostly specializes in the elements but is a practiced healer as well for emergencies. He doesn’t use the full extent of his elemental abilities because he is aware they are much more powerful than he thinks he can handle at the moment. Whether it has something to do with his lineage or the fact he can delve into druidism AND shamanism, we just dont know. He has lost control once, when his tusks were broke and he went into a silent rage. Huge storm….

 Physically? Fit but he isn’t super duper strong for the size he is, but since he is a giant he’s still stronger than almost everyone he meets.

33. Has your OC ever ‘Berserked’ before? Is it common for them to berserk in a fight?

Viscaria has….lost it more times than she can recount. As a slave she was abused and tortured until she berserked, and then thrown into a fighting pit for entertainment. Eventually it got to the point where she blacked out every time she lost it and each time it happened, she got more and more violent. Now, she cannot use her racial trait because she cannot control it anymore. If she does snap, people have to subdue her (aka knock her tf out)

34. Does your OC have a mate? Have they ever performed a mating ritual?

As of the current point in the story with Legion, none of the younger trolls have official mates! However, they all have the equivalent of girl/boyfriends. Zuvashi has Suveilia (human woman), Viscaria has Otaktay (troll), and Shen’ahjen has Tereaiah (orc/belf girl). 

Mal’ghan and Azitish both have had official mates but later lost their wives (they believe their family is cursed to lose the women). Neither have taken up other mates (in Azi’s case he’s having a hard time letting go, for Mal he’s just an old man and that’s not his main priority anymore) Eventually I know Mal’ghan takes @airanke ‘s babe Amita as a bed partner, then later takes her mother as a mate. Azi’s still up in the air for now.

35. Does your OC believe in a ‘mate for life’? Do they practice monogamy or polygamy?

Shen’ahjen and Viscaria firmly believe in mates for life! They want their fairytale happy endings dang it.

Shen’ahjen also is in a poly relationship! Its… interesting. He and his girlfriend Tereaiah were a couple for a long while, then Tera and Shen’s split personality Tazane ended up falling in love as well. After some plot points and character development, everyone agrees it would be alright if she dated both of them.

💉 - Specifically, are they addicted to any substances or immoral behavior patterns? (Bonus points if you outline why!) 

I don’t know if I’d call it an addiction per se, but he is definitely far more fond of fighting/feeling others break beneath his blows than anyone should be. He loves the sound and feeling of breaking bone, someone’s reaction to watching him fight or kill when they’ve never seen him fight before.

👿 - Are they petty?

He definitely can be. Very jealous, very possessive of what’s his.

🚬 - What are some of your muses’s vices? have they tried to quit, or are they content with these habits?

His vices would likely be related to causing others harm. Things like picking fights with people he feels normally wouldn’t be worth his time, just to break them when they rise to the bait. Hunting not because he’s hungry or needing to eat, but because he just feels the urge to kill. Going a bit too far when trying to gather information, causing unnecessary harm (such as broken bones when someone was already willing to talk, etc.). Pride, wrath, gluttony. Sloth on occasion.

1. What's their full name? If they're an alien and their name is in their native planet's language, have you thought about what it means?

Avie’s full married name is Avie Sin’thorel, maiden name Avie Silverbrooke. The name ‘Avie’ has several meanings, including ‘voice’ and ‘my father is God’, ‘Silverbrooke’ is an old name the family took after the river than runs down from the mountain on the isle they settled on, and ‘Sin’thorel’ derives from the Thalassian word ‘sin’, meaning ‘sun’.

2. Say your OC made a playlist on Spotify. What bands would be on that playlist? Any specific genres?

Avie would probably enjoy listening to gentle orchestral music most of the time, with some angsty 2000s rock when she’s wallowing in her self-pity.

3. What kind of video games would they play? Any specific titles?

She’d be a Dark Souls kinda person, that sort of jerk who looks down on people who think its too hard.

4. What would their favorite cartoons be, and why? What would their favorite characters be?

Anything with action and fighting, she’d probably love things like Samurai Jack and The Last Airbender. She’d have a soft spot for Totally Spies.
