Hey ladies! I was wondering if either of you knew of any books that featured deaf characters/hard of hearing characters that use sign language???

Hello! So I don’t off the top of my head (and I’m gonna be working to fix that now), but my friend Kathy told me about Otherbound! She says the main character uses sign language in another world/on another planet, so it might not be a form of sign language we have - also that the character is mute, not deaf/HOH, which we both recognize is not the same thing.

Please, if anyone has any suggestions, let us know! :D I wanna read the inclusive things! -- P

Vega: What’s something you’ve done that you wish you hadn’t? if i’ll be honest, i wish i hadn’t come out to my parents when i did? it was a mess, i was young, and my mom said something that stuck with me that said, “what if you don’t know? you’ll be stuck with that label for the rest of your life. what if you’re wrong?” and that’s something that i have always struggled with. it’s why i don’t like labeling my sexuality. 

Aries: Favourite movie? cinema paradiso is an italian film from 1988, and it is one of my absolute favorite movies. you feel every single emotion, and it’s beauitfully done. i love, love, LOVE this movie.

In your version of the SOA universe, was there ever a Jax x Rory moment? Or a Tara x Jax x Rory moment ? (Also if you ever get annoyed with me asking about HIWTHI just let me know)

First off, I'll never get annoyed with story questions. I'm just glad anyone still remembers them. As for your questions, Jax and Rory would share a lot of strangely intimate moments after Opie's death but nothing unites them more than their hatred for Gemma towards the end of the series. Same with Tara, Jax and Rory- protecting the kids is the most important thing to them so they unite on that front against all evil that comes their way.
