𝐇𝐄 𝐃𝐎𝐄𝐒𝐍'𝐓 𝐔𝐒𝐔𝐀𝐋𝐋𝐘 𝐂𝐋𝐄𝐀𝐍 𝐔𝐏 𝐏𝐎𝐒𝐓 - 𝐊𝐈𝐋𝐋, it's not in his nature to care about the blood that has been shed. seeing VICTORIA covered in the remnants of their victims; it suited her, she looked nicer this way. her face was truly an improvement, if not for the fact that she WASN'T MEANT TO SURVIVE THOSE INJURIES. every time he looks at her mangled face, he's reminded of a failure. does he hold it against her? not particularly, she's changed. a different woman than what she used to be. it's entirely his doing, his influence. she no longer gags at the sight of blood. it's something that is normalized, something that she has no problem getting close to her maw. pulling the corpse away from her vicinity, he holds it at the ankles.

his own hands are BLOODY when he touches her face. smearing more as he goes to wipe the specks from her cheek. there is no saving them. two lost souls, incapable of being redeemed. she wasn't supposed to end up like this, yet here she was. all it took was one faithful night - changing the trajectory of her life forever. getting frustrated when the blood only seemed to double, he brought his sleeve up to her face instead. using that to wipe at the stains on her face. he could fix her makeup later. he still had the white face paint gifted to him by the PALE LITTLE GIRL. but he was focused on cleansing her face to the best of his abilities - which seemed to be lacking at the moment. a solemn expression on his face, it was clear that this was not one of his jokes.

𝐇𝐄 𝐖𝐀𝐒𝐍'𝐓 𝐏𝐑𝐄𝐏𝐀𝐑𝐄𝐃 𝐅𝐎𝐑 𝐕𝐈𝐂𝐊𝐘 𝐓𝐎 𝐒𝐓𝐀𝐑𝐓 𝐑𝐔𝐍𝐍𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐀𝐓 𝐇𝐈𝐌, he was still holding his garbage bag at the moment. hands full with the heavy satchel of items - not anticipating someone to jump at him. when she leaps at him, he allows the bag to fall to the ground; a metallic sound of crashing following it's tumble. he catches VICTORIA in his arms, she is not something so heavy that he cannot stabilize her. she is very thin, her time at the hospital had not done her so well - her body is frail to the touch, almost fragile compared to his heavy grip. he doesn't flinch, or pull a face over her excitable nature. to be frank, he is quite accustomed to it at this point. she gets an idea in her head - and she immediately acts it out. there is no longer room for thought in her head, everything was on impulse. most would never think a victim would be jumping into his arms; prior to him eating off half of her face, but he had a way of controlling things that no one could understand. she was not fully herself these days. BROKEN by a long string of horrific events that could not be reversed.

doing a little twirl with her in his arms, he plays along with the game. it was as if they were dancing - no music accompanying the gesture. he simply wanted to swing her around, a smile painted on his twisted features. they were a team now, and they may as well have acted like it.

𝐇𝐄 𝐃𝐈𝐃𝐍'𝐓 𝐄𝐗𝐏𝐄𝐂𝐓 𝐒𝐔𝐂𝐇 𝐅𝐎𝐑𝐖𝐀𝐑𝐃𝐍𝐄𝐒𝐒 𝐅𝐑𝐎𝐌 𝐕𝐈𝐂𝐊𝐘, she was beyond her normal self these days. the two of them were alone in the warehouse - spending their days watching & waiting for a chance to strike. he had just finished his tools for murder - wanting to show them off to her; excitable in his nature. he was always eager to share his creations, having new ways of going about violence. he was a creative at heart. though, when he shoved her his new idea - she had an odd reaction to his eagerness. pushing him up against the wall & planting a kiss to his lips. he didn't fight her strength - she was stronger than she used to be. able to push someone like ART against the wall with ease. he didn't fight her on it - allowing himself to fall flush against the wall. his arms hitting the cold brick. her kiss was fierce & ravenous. she was showing him her affection for him - he might not have fully understood it, but he wasn't going to question her on it either. she was confused.

leaning down some, he gave her the chance to capture his lips despite their noticeable height difference. pushing him so tightly against the wall would only make it harder for her to reach him without standing up on the tips of her toes.

there was no one around to take notice of the moment, only them in the abandoned room - sharing a kiss. he allowed for VICKY to kiss him for as long as she pleased. no pulling away or breaking contact. giving her his undivided attention. there was still murder weapons to be made, tested. but what was a small distraction? he couldn't leave her to amuse herself with the rodents forever, she clearly craved the contact. 𝐃𝐄𝐒𝐏𝐈𝐓𝐄 𝐁𝐄𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐀 𝐒𝐈𝐋𝐄𝐍𝐓 𝐁𝐄𝐈𝐍𝐆, he had plenty of noises that came along with him. tinkering with objects that would be used for murder was just another one of his hobbies. they had plenty of time to reside in the home they had made & he needed something to fill the time - cooking up creative ways to bring people to their demise. he was a master at the art of murder. VICKY knew better than to disturb him when he was deep in thought about his latest creation, it was a stroke of genius that she couldn't readily interrupt. he was a jokester - but he still had his moments of seriousness that couldn't be taken away from him, not even by @madnessdescend .

she was coddling her RATS again when he had returned; those creatures that he was not so fond of, yet he allowed to scurry about, for her sake. their hug came covered in blood, as it always did. there was nothing between them that was sanitary. they were covered in dirt & grime - the blood of the innocent, & their own innards at all times. no means of cleaning themselves up, this was simply the norm. they didn't need music to dance around - inside of their twisted heads, there was music enough. the both of them were broken beyond repair; the perfect duo for one another. it felt amazing to be with a partner. while he could manage himself on his own, being with another being was so much more satisfying. sharing the love of the kill with someone else . . . there was nothing that could compare.

twirling her around for a moment, he sets her back down on her feet. a gentle gesture, making sure that she was balanced on her own two legs before he lets go. VICKY is someone dear to him - even if she might be more sporadic about her actions than himself. he cannot blame his toy for being broken, it was his own doing.

𝐒𝐇𝐄 𝐇𝐀𝐃 𝐒𝐓𝐎𝐋𝐄𝐍 𝐀 𝐏𝐈𝐄𝐂𝐄 𝐎𝐅 𝐇𝐈𝐒 𝐎𝐔𝐓𝐅𝐈𝐓, not much of a surprise to him; VICKY found modest ways to cause him irritation at every turn. knowing how sold that he was to the look, losing his hat was a pain to him. drawing a frown on his face for a moment - he watches her with caution as she speaks to him. she's santa claus? a little bit of a role - reversal. he had killed the man fair & square, acquiring his suit for his deeds. he didn't need the approval of anyone else, just the sheer fact that he had done something so horrific to obtain the costume was a right of passage in itself. watching as she trots around with his hat on, there is no realistic way to damper her excitement; she shows it in small spurts - before she draws back into the same hollow shell. she's much more fun this way. he wouldn't have been able to handle it if she was an unwilling companion.

removing his sunglasses from his face, he walks up & places them as delicately as he can on her damaged flesh. when she wore them, it was harder to tell that her skin was damaged on one half. the christmas tree - shape hiding some of her imperfections. ART could do nothing but play along with her games, though he much preferred to be the one deciding when they had a laugh. he preferred it at the expense of someone else. VICKY , on the other hand, she was much easier to please. she found joy in simply wearing an article of his carefully curated - look. for her sake, he would partake. had he ignored her, who knew what kind of reaction that she would have?

𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐎𝐖𝐍𝐄𝐑𝐒 𝐎𝐅 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐇𝐎𝐔𝐒𝐄 𝐖𝐄𝐑𝐄 𝐀𝐋𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐃𝐘 𝐃𝐄𝐂𝐄𝐀𝐒𝐄𝐃, no worries about anyone interrupting the scene. they were tucked up in the kitchen, the warmth from the oven radiating through the room. he had never been one to operate such convoluted machinery, but vicky had her confidence when it came to the matter. she seemed to recall many things; & he wasn't particularly hateful of that fact. her humanity was still beyond the mask of hatred, she still had a love for mundane activities. ART couldn't be disappointed, he had a want for experiencing all kinds of housework. an apron tied neatly around his clown costume, he couldn't very well risk getting himself covered in flour & sugar. they were using ingredients located in the cabinets of their victim's pantry. he didn't know what went into the effort, but she seemed to know the recipe like the back of her hand. he was a useless set of hands, hovering over her as she mashed items into the bowl.

he watched with great interest for her handiwork, excited to see what came next. the amount of sugar that went into the mixture had interested him - a sweet tooth that was undeniable when it came to his diet. he couldn't wait to get a taste of home - cooking. they had a handful of cookie cutters lined out, prepared to cut the batter into little shapes. that was a task that he could help with; the rest, he felt as useless as ever. watching with a curious eye as she worked her magic.
