HAHAAA!!! This one I kind of stole from @malewifebruno where he was like 'alma probably wouldnt have had anyone else after pedro. wait, no... she was young and pretty.' and it basically ended up in her hooking up with a woman. Since your mercedes/alma interactions i have of course been this ships number one warrior, even if im super bad at actually writing it.
premise:
alma is alone but not alone. she misses pedro a whole lot
she and guzman are somewhat friends and share a room while the encantonians cant build houses quick enough.
at some point they'll crawl into each other's bed and talk about life a little. things... progress from there on forward : ^)
alma feels guilty. but does not feel guilty. at some point she forgets about pedro all together.
