something abt the way abed is portrayed in the early seasons makes me feel insane. it was before he was truly comfortable with the group. still cautious around them, not really leaning into hugs. head tilted in confusion a lot. not rlly fully understanding their affection. and not to say he changed bc obviously thats just Him. but idk!! everything about him was so calculated and meek.
