This has been said over and over, but learning Latin is the stupidest thing because with every other language they teach you normal shit like how to say your favorite color. Meanwhile in my Latin class, we haven't even learned how to say "hello" yet, but I CAN translate the sentence "The sailors will have been punished by the women of the island." HUH???? I beg your pardon???
We're using a different textbook than the one I initially learned with too so now Caecilius is gone :( I don't care about these women and their goddamn island, where's Caecilius man (he's in horto. Caecilius is always in horto). It's just like Benjamin Franklin said. Only three things in life are constant. Death, taxes, and Caecilius being in horto.
