"i just don't understand... i thought i made it painfully obvious. and i thought there was some kind of mutual attraction. but, i mean... i hope you have fun with her."
while maeum's extremley happy to be able to join katsuya and his band on some of their tour, the girl found herself getting bored pretty easily - especially when having to travel between stops. a sigh escapes her lips, putting down her phone down next to her on the bed. peering across the bus at her friend. "katsuyaaaa," she whines, her lower lip jetting out as she flips over to lay on her stomach. "what do you guys do when you're bored and stuck on the bus? i feel like i'm going crazy."
"I haven't stopped smiling all day. I just can't believe I'm going to be in Beauty and the Beast with some of the biggest names in the business. I never thought this day would come..."
"oh my god oh my god oh my god." she's pacing back and forth as the phone rings, tears welling up in her eyes as she waits for the man to pick up. maeum panics when it goes to voicemail, tears now flowing down her cheeks rapidly as she waits for the greeting to be done. at the beep, she sobs into the phone, no longer able to hold back her distress. "katsuya! peanut's gone! i left the door open when i went to grab the mail downstairs and he's gone! i... i need you right now! please. please katsuya. call me back."

[ open to males/females/nonbinary !! ] it was the night she had been working relentlessly for almost a year for. finally, maeum was about to be on stage in her first broadway level musical as a supporting role. when she had recieved the call that she had been cast to play babette in the seoul stageplay of beauty and the beast, she didn't believe it - she had thought it was some kind of cruel joke. now, she was walking into the theater with the rest of the cast while flashes of photographer's light bulbs went off in their faces. she wore the biggest smile, along with a dazzling dress she had painstakingly saved months for. although she was trying to focus on paying attention to the cameras, her eyes gravitated towards the small crowd behind the barricades that had turned up for their arrival despite the opening show not being for another two hours. she had invited them to the opening night show the minute she found out she had gotten the role - they were truly the only person maeum wanted there, since her family didn't support her. she realized it was likely they wouldn't turn up so early for a simple press event since they were busy themselves, but she could still dream that they would be able to see her in her dress, hair and makeup all done, getting interviewed with the rest of the cast.
"hey, dickbag! can't you tell she's not interested? do you really need it to be spelled out?" yes, she was drunk, which made her a little more... abbrasive than normal. but even if she was sober, there was no way maeum was going to let this girl continue to be harassed by this ugly dude who couldn't take a hint. she managed to squeeze herself in between the man and the girl, smiling at her. "hi, i'm maeum." she said, a slight slurr in her tone.
