    while he’s still working on getting himself a car, anton’s got the next best thing: mae and her bike. sure, his legs and feet are fine, and he could just walk anywhere he needed and wanted to, but getting driven everywhere in style by mae and her bike trumps all that and more. she’s not just doing him a great favor by helping him get somewhere, too. for anton, her company is a refreshing boon in itself.

    plus, mae seems like she doesn’t mind helping him get anywhere and everywhere anyway, which is why he’ll always be indebted to her, whether she knows that or not. when the day comes when he finally gets around to driving his own car, he’ll definitely make it up to her, something he’s been really looking forward to. once they get to the carnival, however, he immediately disappears into the crowd to get them some snacks as fast as he can, which he actually pays for himself, a rare treat to be sure.

    “hey, mae! look at what i got! cotton candy!” he exclaims gleefully before biting into his while surrendering the other to mae. it’s not much, but it's all he can afford. for now, anyway.

          pushing  his  hood  down  he  steps  forward  out  of  the  doorway,  intending  on  checking  out  the  menu  above  the  counter  ;  instead,  eyes  are  drawn  to  a  familiar  figure  sitting  at  a  table  in  the  corner,  and  immediately  a  smile  breaks  out,  beeline  instead  made  for  mae.

          ❛   hey             ❜   he  speaks  when  he  gets  close  enough,  tone  warm  with  fondness,   ❛               happy  new  year  !   ❜   hands  come  to  rest  on  the  back  of  empty  chair  opposite,  nodding  at  vacant  seat,   ❛   you  waiting  for  someone  or  can  i  join  you  ?   the  rain’s  kinda  ruined  my  plans.   ❜

🙊› has your muse ever accidentally exposed any of their powers in the company of a mortal? do they know what the mortal saw instead, thanks to the mist?

Besides, when my powers first came out and I almost drowned a couple fisherman? (The news said small earthquake caused the flooding and a storm had been expected that same day) More than I can count. My parents decided after the third fall back from camp to have me live there permanently because my storms and floods kept making headlines (kinda hard to explain away sprinkler malfunctions in a mall twice a week)

👨‍👨‍👧‍👦 = does your muse feel like their half-siblings are their actual siblings or are they closer to acquaintances?

jonas has known he was a demigod for a little over 10 years now, but he still struggles between the gaps. although he’s somewhat excited by the idea of having endless siblings in the world... it also trips him up sometimes. it doesn’t help that apollo took his sweet time to welcome him to the family, but neither did a lot of apollo kids at camp. with hazel, however, he’s started to feel a lot more welcome in the apollo house, and he gets the feeling that the two are actual siblings. beck too, though he doesn’t seem too sure how the other feels about him a lot of the time, deep down he feels they’re brothers.
