just posted my m!merc fic. kicks rocks like a stupid fucking idiot.
i have an odd amount of headcanons for merc and their sleep so here:
- merc hates sleeping in between loops so they are just really tired all the time. it’s not uncommon for people will find merc passed out in like the forest or town hall or something in the middle of the day
- they sleep FULLY sprawled out, this bitch takes up the entire bed. if someone is sharing with them merc will end up on top of them at some point
- they stretch like a cat when they wake up, including the thing where it looks like they are unhinging their jaw when they yawn
- i’ve said this before but merc looks DEAD when they sleep. looks like they are aren’t breathing. barely feel a pulse. they’re fine they just sleep like a rock
- adding on to the last one there has definitely been a debate at some point during a game like “hey is merc sleeping in. or did they just fucking die.”
