Instead, he simply goes quiet. His expression barely changes with that same unimpressed look he always held, saved for the sharp cyan orbs of his that gave any hint of an emotion. His voice remains perfectly level, yet somehow, that reaction is far worse because everyone around him immediately knows somebody is about to make a life-altering mistake.
Mafia!Kashimo who keeps a photograph of you inside his wallet despite claiming it isn't sentimental. When one of his lieutenants points it out, he spent ten minutes explaining practical reasons for carrying it before eventually realising nobody believes him. The photo remains there regardless. "What? So you're telling me shooting a person's head off is normal to you but carrying a photo of your beloved is not?"
Mafia!Kashimo who genuinely views you as the most precious thing in his life. Money can be replaced, businesses can be rebuilt, men can be recruited, even power can be regained.
