“Urk... fh... fuckin’ A...” Footsteps tapped lightly against the pavement as Chara’s hand scraped along the bricks of a building, occasionally leaning on it to regain their balance. Their other hand, still clutching a revolver, pressed up against their side in a feeble attempt to stop the incessant bleeding which stained their white dress shirt and suspenders.

And then they noticed a figure. Another person in the alley.

“Hhhk... just go ‘bout yer business, y’mug. I’ll yank this trigger and you’ll never see the light a’ day again.” They said, shakily removing their hand from the wound and pointing the pistol at the vague, concealed figure. Weakness and trembling was obvious in their stature, though. They’d only hope that there was either an evil coward or a pacifist on the other side of that passage.
