MAG 79 “Hide and Seek” review:

WHT THE FUFK IS GOJNG ON

First off, mystery voice is Michael! Second off, HE KIDNAPPED TIM AND MARTIN!!!! Third off, Sasha is well and truly dead. Fuck.

Oh my god. What do I even say about these episodes. Whats there to rate. It’s a 10/10 obvi.

Okay, what can I remember about Michael. Sasha could only see him in reflections. He’s got unnatural hands. Long I think. From this action, and I think from a relatively recent statement, I think Michael isn’t a force for good or evil. He’s just here for the Bit.

Okay so thankfully NotThem explained in full the origin. So it was a far like creature going around and imitating and scaring who it wanted. Then the exorcist guy connected it to a table. There’s apparently spiders about the table? Its description in the oldest mag epsidoe didn’t make me think of spiders. Then again I skimmed it because I plan to redo all of season 1 when I reach MAG 100. Then Sims destroyed the table like a dumbass. Keep in mind, I’m saying that when I would’ve undoubtedly done the exact same. Can’t exactly kill Not!Sasha, what happens if her body ends up looking perfectly human?

Secondly, the tunnels have no protection. That explains why Gertrude is dead under it, but I’m surprised by how limited the protective field of the Institute is. Then again, Prentiss managed to conduct a semi-successful raid with BUGS of all things. So if it’s not a protection against immediate and deadly threats, then what IS it protecting? Better question, is it meant to keep things out? Or keep them in?

The taking was getting muddled at the end so I didn’t understand it all, but someone did something to NotThem at the end. I fear I may know who it is, judging on the summary of the next statement. Oh god Martin and Sims are still trapped in the mirror dimension. It has to be a mirror dimension. Fuck. Michael you better let them go since the game with Sims is over.

Man. Martin really freaked out at that one part. He deserves it after being so nice all this time. I see why he’s shipped with Sims, they’d make a complicated couple ☺️ and Sims, thsi ws the last scared I’d ever heard him. If I felt any emotion currently other than excitement and intrigue I’d maybe be upset about it. Maybe. My empathy doesn’t always work.
