Are all MAGs purely for combat or are there any in different types of roles as well?
MAGs where originally created for combat purposes, but would occasionally take on other roles.
The Nexus Core did not think very highly of MAGs, and so they were given low military ranks and extensive mind control implants in order to keep their behavior in check.
The AAHW did not see eye to eye with the Nexus on that, and so many of their MAGs are in leadership roles.
Sometimes, MAGs would be used for labor, but more often than not G03LMs would take on that role. If a MAG needed to move something a G03LM couldn't, then it would have to have been extraordinarily large.
felt in the mood for Madness Combat so, Mag Hank and Agent Torture
the other mags treat him like a little brother and it drives him more and more insane every day
September 1st 22 days till madness day ^-^
I'm gonna try draw a random character from the wiki every day til then so... Heres mag v5
+ hanky doobles
sneaky fella
ok hank, how about fighting 3 retainers or 5 mags? upped the mag count cuz they dont have telekinesis :/
5 MAGs. One retainer is enough. 3 is just overkill.
to hank wimbly: would you rather fight 350 zeds or 10 mag agents all at once?
350 zeds. I can do that in my sleep. Zeds are squishy and easy to kill. MAGs, not so much.
Why’re your guys’ ceilings so excessively high all the time? Is it to accommodate those who happen to be significantly larger in the case they’d need to enter, or is it just an architectural style choice?
And how generally common are G03LMs, MAGs, and other notably taller folk anyway?
High ceilings, at least around Nexus Core property, were made much higher in order to occupy MAG Agents in the event they needed to be moved there, or had to stay there.
MAGs are substantially less common, due to their exclusively military role in the Nexus Core and eventually AAHW, while G03LMs are very common. G03LMs were originally made to be servants and workers, so thousands of them were shipped all across Nevada for various purposes, be it factory workers, food servants, personal butlers or even companions.
I wouldn't be surprised at all to find G03LMs even in the farthest reaches of Nevada.
