truthfully, it was hard not to notice malleus' arrival. what with the glitter and all obscuring her view momentarily. so, there's no real surprise when she turns and sees them. she cranes her neck. how does anyone enjoy conversing with someone so tall? just another annoyance to make her brow twitch. ' is this how you've been trying to make friends? ' it's ... a bit endearing, she supposed. but not so much that it stops the scowl from twisting onto her lips. ' i guess that's why you're seen talking to gargoyles. ' or was it about? well, the details didn't matter to her. ‘ now what did you need? ’
the words have the effect like one’s first bite of a particularly bitter lemon, twisting malleus face into an expression of great displeasure. a childish response perhaps but malleus makes sure to compensate for it by the formal way in which they speak, less like a child & more like a king. ❛ it would do you well to remember your place here, ❜ he says coldly. ❛ there are many in the court who would have your head for speaking to a future king as you just did. ❜ sure lilia can get away with making fun of him but no else has that privilege as far as the older generation goes. ❛ have i made myself clear? -- & for your information, i do not talk to gargoyles. ❜ anymore.
