MUHAHAHA @absurdmageart while you were stuck in the sauce I was cooking!! This is RECOIL and I LOVE HIM. This is not Part four of my sketches with him but more like some disconnected thoughts happening after that part (when and if I ever get to it)

Recoil belongs to Mage and this is me shipping him with my persona Riley so selfish self insert over here. I love my little coffee au and Thank you Mage for letting me temporarily kidnap him from time to time. It's the closet Riley has ever got to kissing a skeleton so good for her. The Casino chip, Smokes and Casino logo are all my interpretation and not cannon (But if mage wants to use them she can!) I did them to fill the space. And I love how sweetly Recoil is looking at Riley and the bandaids she put on him and that we can't see his expression in the top one because it's from his banged up socket side and AHHH.

He's so tall and she's small. they are so cute. Thank you for letting me fangirl over him.

3. most expensive purchase/how they spend disposable income

this piece of junk beaut right here!!

they work as a ghost tour guide (lots of those in charleston) and it's not a terribly lucrative gig so this bad boy's about the best they could manage. plus, they live with/take care of their gran who's....something of the eccentric, free spirit, cryptid-enthusiast-slash-monster-hunter type and is no longer employed, so ptol handles most of the bills and groceries and practical life type stuff, which doesn't leave terribly much in the way of disposable income.

(they're a mastigos psychonaut, though, so there's always a little money stashed away for the essentials. you know how it is)

17. favorite toy as a child?

she had a little pink otter plushie from the tsugas, which is presumably still in her room at their house. her bio parents very actively prohibited her from engaging with anything magical or fantastical (no fun allowed for the changeling kid) and also refused to acknowledge her as a girl, so the pink plushie was very dear to her.

37. are they more concerned with defending their honor, or protecting their status?

honor? in this delphine? less likely than you think. protecting her reputation and those of the rest of the coterie (and tara) for sure.

44. how easy or difficult is it for them to say “I love you?” can they say it without meaning it?

to her parents - extremely easy

to the coterie - we'll call this medium. if mitra or delores says it to the group she can do "yeah you too". definitely not there with sami

to literally anyone else but especially tara - extreme insane hard mode maximum difficulty good luck

if she were playing a long game and needed to feign it she could say it without meaning it, but aside from that no chance.

not a toy per se, but those little science kits where it's like a brick of dirt and some crappy plastic tools that you use to "excavate" little gemstones and fake dino bones, etc.

defending their honor; it bothers them a whole lot if someone thinks ill of them. they don't have much in the way of status (that's largely his gran's doing) and it's not terribly important to them.

44. how easy or difficult is it for them to say “I love you?” can they say it without meaning it?

very easy! he's very free with his "i love you"s, especially with friends and family. romantic partners are a different story lol, ptol's a dweeb with no game and that one's scary.
