Not much is known about Liam’s past life. All he remembered was one day seizing the opportunity to learn the art of magic. He was recognized for his skills in enchantment. Liam possessed a unique ability to imbue anything and anyone he wanted with small levels of magic. He was even rumored to have endowed warriors with swords capable of slicing through solid steel. Of course, such power was admirable but also earned the dismay of many people.

Eventually, word of his capabilities reached the ears of various humans who began to fear what he was able to do. They hunted him down, and forced Liam to flee the town he once called home. By some divine luck, he discovered the Cult of Yggdrasil. According to their leader, Liam apparently embodied Lofn; a goddess associated with marriage. As an Aesir, he was offered a spot in the inner circle. Most importantly, he was given safety and protection. Liam saw no reason to refuse. He decided to follow Ragnar to Valhalla. There, Liam worked alongside the dwarves and began enchanting pieces of fine jewelry for them. According to a few stories, couples who wore rings blessed by him in their wedding day had fruitful unions.

Until now, Liam isn’t exactly sure he believes Ragnar just yet. However, with his safety and position in the island, he dared not oppose the cult’s leader. He will stand by his Aesir brethren and fight against any humans that threaten to oppress them.

Finn liked to think that he had been a rather good person. Yes…Perhaps he enjoyed partaking in shenanigans a time or two too much. But not everyone is perfect. And honestly? The only thing Finn wanted to be perfect in was his magic and deceit. In his eyes? The two most useful things one could have in their hands. Magic basically allowed someone ot have the world in the palm of their hands, and deceit? Deceit can make people get behind you having said world in the palm of your hand.

The purge was a rather…Disgusting time period for Finn. Finn has always detested humans, and perhaps his pranks on them were a bit crueler…But he never would plan a mass genocide. But after the purge? He was tempted too…Tempted to show everyone the true mass of his powers. But he kept it to himself…Managing to reign himself in even as his anger roared inside of him for vengeance.

But…He knew that he could not die. Knew that he needed to do something so he’d be able to prolong his life in order to keep others safe. So he partook in a blood ritual…Making him immortal and allowing the trickster to be able to share the knowledge of his tricks with others…Should he deem them worthy.
