It wasnโt hard for Setsuko to see that her ally was genuine in her reasons for gifting her whatever this package was. Theyโd traveled a decent amount of time together for the mercenary to understand the general idea about this mage. What surprised her a bit was the fact that Cerise actually saw Setsuko as her only friend. At the very least, she found it interesting.
โI see. Well you have my gratitude.โ She replies with a small smile, pulling the books out from the box and taking a moment to inspect them. What caught her eyes most, of course, were the small blades.
When Cerise spoke up, Setsuko turns her attention to her and listens intently to her explanation. Though she certainly preferred rapiers to what was given to her, she could not deny the remarkable enhancements applied to the weapons.
โHmm, so I see. They are certainly of remarkable quality. Not my favorite type of blade, but Iโm sure I can find good use out of them. The books and gems are also a nice addition. Thank you, Cerise.โ
