Despite all the information they’ve exchanged, mostly on Setsuko’s part, there was still much they did not know about each other. Her introduction had piqued his interest, and curiousity into her abilities. The King had found that heroic spirits from eras more recent than his were very different in their way of combat. Or perhaps it was just the few he had already met. Putting aside weaponry, there were many new forms of what some nowadays called modern magic. He was keen to see what Setsuko wielded.
“So, is there a tale that recounts your ventures in life? However inaccurate it may be.”
The final comment may have been unnecessary but even though he hadn’t voiced it, the myth she was referring to recounted the life of another who simply shared the same name and descent as him. A part of it was true, but the most crucial times had been replaced with descriptions of a time of peace. The events that allowed him to be summoned as a Caster class remain untold. And, in all honesty, he wasn’t quite sure how to feel about it yet.
Hearing the man’s question caused Setsuko to smile a bit more, before she responds by closing her eyes and shaking her head. It was a perfectly valid question, and one worth asking, but there was something about the idea that humored her. Perhaps it was because she was well aware of the type of person that she is and the fact that she’s no real ‘hero.’
“To my knowledge, no. Those who knew me never seemed interested in recording anything about me. Besides, based on my knowledge of this world, there lies a possibility that I am not from this timeline, so I doubt any sort of documentation on myself would exist.” She explains in return.
