How do you headcannon david and gwen got their terrible boys and were they at the wedding?

well they were definitely just david’s boys for a while.

i know absolutely nothing about obtaining legal custody of a child but here’s what i’ve got

max’s parents just straight up left. where are they? who knows, but they never showed up to take him home at the end of the summer

harrison’s parents did show up, but upon realizing he had learned nothing and was still “dangerous,” they lashed out and wouldn’t let him come home with them. harrison’s the most likely to think of david’s guardianship as temporary, even though he doesn’t want it to be.

nurf was being taken care of by his aunt and uncle, but they were arrested and it was determined that no one in his family should really have custody of him

he and gwen wouldn’t start dating until after the boys come into the picture, but they do end up spending a lot more time together as she helps him out. and yes, they’re definitely at the wedding.

i’ve been really poor about continuing them, but i do plan to, yes!! right now the best way to get more info would be to either send some specific questions into my ask box, or you could send me some halloween writing prompts and specify you want high school au.

Could you imagine Preston inviting them both to a theatre party with drinking because it "would be totally boring without the preformance trio" and at sone point after a few drinks when Harrison went to grab food Preston ended up kissing Nerris? Like she was being a sarcastic simi cuddly drunk and he was too. Maybe shes honest while drunk and admitted that she liked both of them and kinda wanted to kiss them. Preston found it super cute and kissed her. Maybe Harrison saw and took it wrong.

since the au is based on a rp, we already know how they get together, but god if this isn’t similar to something that happens later

nerris definitely gets drunk at some point and it leads to all sorts of truths..........

Why does harrison think that dating Preston and Nerris would ruin him? Is it a little due to the internalized homophobia from and fear that hes not good enough bc of his parents? (Sorry to ask again im just really curious)

“ruin” was kind of just my way of saying harrison is terrified of acknowledging those feelings. part of it is due to internalized homophobia where preston is concerned, and with nerris he doesn’t want to admit he likes her and get told, “ha, i knew it,” from fifty different people.

but also he has a very strong fear of rejection and people’s opinions mean a lot to him. harrison is fairly popular at school and he’s afraid he could lose all of that by coming out, not to mention being in a poly relationship. and since positive attention and validation is so important to him, that’s something he can’t really risk.

Do you think preston and nerris know about their mutual crush? Also if its poly nerriston do you think they know they like each other? Sorry for sending lots of asks i just love this ship.

preston is very aware of his crushes on the other two, and he’s aware that nerris and harrison like each other (because Everyone Can See It), but he’s 100% convinced harrison is straight and doesn’t think nerris sees him as anything more than a friend.

and then nerris is dense and wouldn’t know romantic feelings if they slapped her in the face. she definitely likes both of them back, though, she just has no clue.......

Oh my god i love that and the demi sexual (romantic?) headcannon for Harrison!!! Think either Preston or Nerris are low key jealous without fully understanding why.

he’s definitely panromantic! he doesn’t go around dating girls he has no feelings for at all.

nerris and preston are definitely very jealous!! nerris doesn’t even realize while preston is fully aware and knows exactly why.

Do you think highschool Harrison is the type who dates around and sleeps around for not only validation but because hes trying to avoid his feelings for his two best friends? Love your au btw

he absolutely dates around for that reason. his hpd is a big part of it, but it’s also an easy way of forcing himself away from the relationship he thinks is going to RUIN him. also it makes him look more straight.

but he actually doesn’t sleep around at all, which is an important distinction i wanna make!! he actually had a girlfriend who cheated on him because he wouldn’t sleep with her. harrison here is demi and just hasn’t quite put that together yet.
