I'm not saying you are wrong about the bibliomancy being heresy when it is taught as doctrine, but how could that become so common if it was, because it was also something I've heard of a lot when I was younger.

It’s a misrepresentation of using scripture as a form of prayer. If you wanted to use the Bible to enlighten you, it should be more like.

Person: hey God, I need some help figuring stuff out. I’m going to utilize Lectio Divina to hear your words and enlighten me on what you want me to do.

A lot of people need a tutorial on prayer (me included). But it’s just easier to say “open the book and see what God says”

I'm completely for proportional representation, the only sad part about it is that if it was like that in this election, conservative would have more seat then liberals, and even if I hate that liberals won, conservative would have been worse. It would be a shame that the NDP fix the representation system for the worse, considering how much vote the Tories got in total

Yeah but you’re ignoring the fact that in our political system winning the most seats doesn’t guarantee government. See BC, where the BC Liberals won more seats but the NDP is in government with Green support.

Its very likely that if the election had gone this way Andrew Scheer wouldn’t be PM because its unlikely that most of the other parties would want to work with them.

We’d likely get a coalition of NDP/Green/Liberals/etc, and this would be more likely to happen because with FPTP there is no leverage to go things alone as Trudeau is trying to do with the off chance to pull a snap election and gain a false majority government.

Its also likely that in a proportional system the NDP would get a lot more of the popular vote as the risk of vote splitting would disappear.

Regarding the NDP support in Quebec ask, I live in Montreal and I have seen a lot of support, so it might not be has dire has it seem.
