i think it goes without saying that you've been a light in my life for awhile now, and this year all the more so. i've said it before and i'll say it again, the longer i've known you the more i've grown to love and adore you. you mean so, so much to me, more than i think i show. you bring such peace and adoration to my heart, and knowing you're there and around just. makes me so happy? i'm so grateful to have met you and spent this year WITH you, and i look forward to what next year brings us

——   here  i’m  going  to  info  dump  for  an  alternative  modern  verse  until  the  sideblog  isn’t  set !  this  verse  is  𝐒𝐄𝐓 𝐈𝐍  existing  ecchi  manga  𝐕𝐄𝐋𝐕𝐄𝐓 𝐊𝐈𝐒𝐒 .

Shieda  is  one  of  Kanako’s  friend  childhood .  he  is  one  of  the  better  friends  she  has  𝐁𝐔𝐓 with  a  mean  side  for  sure .  they  both  live  in  the  𝐒𝐀𝐌𝐄  hotel .  before  Nitta - san  was  around ,  Ahri  and  Shieda  were  her  shopping  buddies  𝐈𝐍𝐒𝐓𝐄𝐀𝐃 .

his  first  meeting  is  set  up  by  Kanako’s  𝐅𝐀𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐑  who  spoils  that  Viktor  took  a  loan  to  continue  his  research .  Viktor  is  told  to  keep  the  young  adult  company  and  follow  his  instructions  if  he  wishes  for  the  debt  to  be  frozen .

for  the  first  meeting ,  Kayn  took  𝐁𝐎𝐓𝐇  of  his  friends  as  a  company  because  he  was  too  shy  to  be  alone  with  such  handsome  &  incredibly  tall  man .

Syndra  is  Kayn’s  adoptive  mother / caretaker  &  one  of  Yakuza’s  leaders .  meaning  Kayn  is  spending  mafia  𝐌𝐎𝐍𝐄𝐘  to  buy  video  games  and  fund  Vik’s  research .

due  to  having  many  girl  friends ,  Kayn  is  dressing  more  like  an  𝐄-𝐁𝐎𝐘  or  a 𝐏𝐀𝐒𝐓𝐄𝐋  𝐆𝐎𝐓𝐇 .  he  isn’t  a  stranger  to  darker  colors  for  sure ,  it’s  just  a  matter  of  looking  cute  &  tasty .

instead  of  using  Kanako’s  tactic  to  blackmail  the  companion  into  submission ,  Kayn  would  rather  come  to  Viktor’s  work  with  lingerie  under  his  regular  clothes  &  undress  himself ,  refusing  to  leave  until  he’s  taken  care  of  ♥

he’s  definitely  a  bottom  who  𝐀𝐃𝐎𝐑𝐄𝐒  to  guide  his  top  and  teach  how  to  best  deliver  the  pleasure .  one  of  but  few  verses  where  Kayn  is  also  not  a  young  adult  virgin  and  has  sexual  experience .

hotel  staff  knows  his  room  as  a  bunny  sanctuary  &  and  a  very  𝐓𝐈𝐃𝐘  place .  he’s  been  raised  to  take  care  of  his  stuff ,  pets  and  belongings  so  Kayn  𝐃𝐎𝐄𝐒  clean  his  own  hotel  room  &  bathrooms  alone .

/ watched Necrit’s J.ayce and V.iktor’s lore videos and i’m calling dibs on Vik. he’s a perfect husband material gdi and needs someone to fix his trust issues and teach him that some emotions feel good and does not make you weak ;;;;

the reaction he gets is precisely the reaction he expects. it’s been months since his death (--the conclusion of an age-long battle between flesh and time; illness had no mercy for organics, he figures, though he can’t quite regret it---never look back had been one of his mottos in life, had it not?) and jayce has figured that by now the herald must’ve moved on. see, they have had a good last few decades, they’ve reached consensus on a great many subjects, but his death is only a step further into viktor’s disentanglement to humanity, he assumes, so it should be seen by the man in a positive light.

it shouldn’t be loss.

it shouldn’t be hard.

the lengths his rationalization goes, the miles it’d cross to make loss acceptable---he’s crossed those bridges before and it never truly surprises him when he realizes he’s number than he should be. 

shouldn’t he be the fully human one between the two? 

he supposes death makes it matter none.

“don’t look so surprised,” and he’d have said haunted, but it’d taste too heavy on his tongue. he’s a ghost, yes, and one fully aware of his condition. he never imagined that afterlife was real, but with what little he knows about the shadow isles, it also doesn’t come as a shocking outcome. perhaps meddling with old artifacts by the giopara’s design took its toll on him, perhaps it’s just irony at its finest once more. there’s a playful quirk of a tired brow as he watches viktor from a few feet away, arms crossed over his chest despite how lax his body language is. he’s just as old as he was last time they’ve met, but his eyes have a glint they had lost in his last few living weeks. “i’ve never been easy to get yourself rid of. death wouldn’t change it.”
