I’m so fascinated by how all the men (Mitch, Chip and some other bts cast) are so protective of Alex while the women all seem to be ready for her downfall, but also seem to care about her.

It makes me wonder what Alex used to be like and what caused her to become so antagonist towards EVERYONE which made her so defensive and isolated.

Everyone seemed to like who she used to me (said by Maggie, Laura, Chip and Fred).

It’s so clear that she ‘assimilated’ into the men’s group of the business, dismissed other women but so clearly resents the men also. She did it to survive and be successful, but knows exactly how the patriarchy works against women. She resented her husband for being condescending.
