Got a whole 30 minutes of writing time tonight. Now I need to go be an unconcious Maggie because I offered to teach tomorrow and if the monsters are anything like today, I'll be nearly unconcious from rolling my eyes for 7 hours.

But I wrote something for fun and not a paper or a lesson plan...

Because Teodora and Marcella merged minds and Marcella apparently saw Teo’s whole life and “knew everything she knew”

In theory, Marcella knows and understands what memes are and what they mean

So, weird thought niggling in my brain — you know when Jaskier and Yennefer reunite and he’s like “Oh Yennefer, I forgot you were half-elf”… do we have any point in canon where that information is shared with him? (It’s totally possible that there is and I missed it in my fever dream watch of all of S2 at once while being super sick.)

But if not, that’s a very interesting thing for him to say because to me that implies that Geralt shared that information with Jaskier.

Which means Jaskier not only actually listened when Geralt talked about Yennefer to him, but committed all those things to memory because they were important to Geralt. And who knows when that information was divulged to him in the six years between Rinde and Caingorn? He still remembered — no matter how much Jaskier personally hated her, because it mattered to Geralt.

I’m not sure what I’m even getting at, but it’s just another small example of what a good, thoughtful friend Jaskier is.

it’s really unbelievable to me still, the amount of times I get asked if my partner and I are “okay” together because we both work from home. (the other close second is the incredulous “you lived in a one bedroom together during covid, how did you survive?”)

I genuinely like spending time with him???? we’re good at giving each other space and alone time to recharge??

it’s mind boggling how many people apparently dislike their partners/spouses. I’m not going to condone that shit, Debra. divorce your incompetent husband and stop projecting.

Shout out to buff!Jaskier for giving me so much more motivation during workouts now. Whenever I’m struggling, I’m just like, well if Jaskier can write a banger break up song AND get super swole within a year of getting his heart totally stomped on, then I can manage working out for 45 minutes LOL
