This world idea is so cool!! (and totally not what I thought from the subtitle; I was thinking like, an AU where the world just is that).
And aw Maitimo was-not-in-Angband King of the world!
I love the world stuff like - Grieving Prince as a thing and RPF fanfic about him, all the King and Elf stuff being there, and history books, and - just, living in a world where that’s the world.
Aw poor very clinging Tyelcormo.
(Several of the family members having like, from-other-universes soulmates is :neat: to me.)
I love Imliss and everyone.
Thoughts about personally knowing people stuff.
Immortality getting referred to etc interestingly.
I am so curious about Luthien! Is she still around? Did she get with Beren and if so how did that work out, since they didn't have immortality *then*. Etc.
Totally interested in more world stuff (Timeline type things! Current type things!)
Curious about their what-is-general-knowledge-and-not stuff, and with war being not.
And mm ok getting the general thing that seems to be - Elves can win against Morgoth without like, just someone else coming in and doing if they can *get the Silmarils* (and it helps a lot if they have Feanor but seems to not be completely must-have because grimdarda (though the one there was not working ideally) and Hazel’s Arda (though there they had AU Feanor and more people and more magic). But they tend to have generally needed someone coming in to *get* them.
More enthusiasm about the world!
