alec, easily i have very Personal Feelings and Attachment to him for a variety of reasons also I just find him so intriguing hes such a fucking MESS. and onc is very brave for depicting a character like that and having them go far.. like divorced alcoholic father thats severely neglectful obvious closeted bisexual as per all stars (canonically straight my ass. that's just another layer of avoidance and repression.) his only connections? are with people he distinctly relates to? connor w the seeing himself in his and riya's relationship, fiore being insanely intelligent and conniving, and seemingly spencer (greeting where alec wants? to read comics with him? and spence is his favourite? for alec to want genuine non game connection w another guy..) incessant habit of traumadumping to a child and adultifying her and using her as a therapy tool canonically not loving his son clear toxic masculinity seems to try to get better but hes still clearly a shitty, awful person said hed paid his child support then gets 100k then is on dc5 bc he cant afford it states if he won dcas hed spend it on drinking himself into a coma (whered that 100k go) theres so many fucking layers to this man and it drives me insane in the best way picking him apart also hes cute. and a nerd. and is very clearly a burnt out gifted kid that has no clue how to function on a social-emotional level besides going with the flow due to severe neglect bc how else do you get like that? (well i have more theories but thats not what this post is meant to be for)

apologies for inactivity ive been getting into disventure camp for the first time these past few weeks!

binged like the entire series besides the betas and alot of the greetings

but ive been conjuring up giant character essays and theories and a shitton of art .. ive just been too lazy to post to tumblr LOL

and scared bc ive been observing twitter fandom ..

Manitoba as an animal alter.. (still being a fictive of indiana jones tho)

based as fuck take actually primarily an indiana jones fictive but he's clearly got a love for australia, and with how well tuned his survival and wilderness skills are I can see him having a fascination with animals enough to base his headspace appearance heavily off of them and well. be an animal alter I can see him being indecisive and messing with his identity alot though (I mean. he's indiana jones named after canadian states thats heavily australian. bit of a mini ID crisis there) like oh one day he's sure he's a wedge tailed eagle next week saltwater croc next week lace monitor next week red kangaroo etc etc

sometimes I wonder about how much being stuffed full of hard drugs while I was watching TD for the first time actually affected my first experiences with the show and my emotional attachment and response to it as a whole. Like its just interesting. I know weed affected my experience with the live action transformers movies and made everything whack as hell but what about all the heroin plus funny canadian cartoon. I wish I could like, actually remember that far back consistently

yk how we got info on the alters' dietary preferences? i liked that. i liked that and I wanted to see more things like that, show the alters' differing tastes and interests please yes please. i already yapped about how they shouldve been able to form their own connections with others but like.. i wanna see more of manitoba being outdoorsy and going on long winded treks through the woods and analysing dirt and rocks and whatever critters are around, or talking about his source (i dont know if indiana jones is canonically called manitoba smith in the td universe but i hope it is) and gushing about shitty movies vito, vito- we know he loves to flirt, loves attention, but adjacent to that- him loving parties! I wanna see him in the dudes cabin bringing in a stereo and booze and soda and having a great time, and in general him being extroverted, bet he'd love hanging on the beach and stuff like skateboarding honestly. I also hc he'd loooove fashion, specifically they overly extravagant elton john outfit esque fashion. wouldve loved to see him in the fashion challenge svetlana's a gymnast and we see trophies in mike's room, god I want her gushing about her achievements and engaging with her athleticism and gymnastic ability outside of just the competition, yknow, showing off her skills to everyone and also I want her allowed to be more feminine- show the girls helping her with makeup and giving her spare outfits to try on, have her express her desires to be more feminine actually chester's a grouchy, grumpy old man but he surely has interests too! maybe when he's out and its not mid challenge he can just be shown doing his own thing or he can gush about his favourite old timey literature and he loves comedy acts so lean into that! and mal. we get his interests are being edgy and apathetic and sadistic but id kill to see him lean even more into emo aesthetic and trends, actually. give him the edgy metal/rock band merch like fuckin 3 days grace (or whatever knockoff name theyd give them) and have him reference creepypasta shit. i mean, slenderman is canon to the td universe. and also ontop of this: alters beefing with eachother but in a petty sense. like confessionals where like svetlana and vito are complaining bc manitoba got them neck deep in swamp gunk Again or manitoba bringing up switching making him lose track of an albino crocodile or chester knocking on the others for making their back even worse, just stuff like that. theyre like a big dysfunctional family but stuck in one guy and it shows in how different they all are from eachother.
