Aladdin brings the Flashback-Cinema to an end. With a smile. I can't deal with Aladdin serenely smiling in all these moments that must be heartbreaking for him. The only time we saw him really lose it and break down was when he was still in the Palace with Ugo (I think?) and that was especially scary because he was so little and already thinking of prefering death over his safety cage.
Does Titus have a special interest in Yunan because as the Great Rift's Guardian, he's of interest to the Fanalis, because he's another Magi, or for other reasons? He looks pretty serious.
Unlike most others, I'm not really sure if the panel where Sinbad just STARES means a lot. Sure, it's a HUGE panel, and he stares in what I think is awe and wonder, but it could mean anything - he's just been told the crazy backstory to his world and existence, I'd be more surprised if he acted DIFFERENTLY! Even if this is Sinbad we're talking about. To me, he doesn't even seem as sinister as Ohtaka seems to like to portray him lately.
Aladdin has calmly given the facts and doesn't command but URGENTLY ADVISE everyone gathered to unite instead of quarrel, or Al Sarmen will win. Of course, people will be people and fear breeds stupidity.
interesting sidenote: Aladdin confirms that the large number of dungeons popping up lately isn't part of Ugo's plan but most likely Al Sarmen's to have Metal Vessel users fight each other. That explains why Judal raised so many dungeons and the others didn't really. Were there never supposed to be several king candidates at once? This brings me back to a question I've been asking myself since forever: Then why the need for three Magi? Would they be expected to agree on one Candidate? Or were they supposed to have several large kingdoms at the same time, three being a number that works well without them clashing too much? Doesn't really fit in with the "one world" idea though). Or does it just make finding an appropriate King Candidate easier?
The summoning of Ill Ilah left behind a dimensional distortion in this world which is basically a dangerously wide-open door for Ill Ilah in case another medium will be summoned. I'm pretty sure Gyokuen mentioned this before, but what's news is that there's a similar dimensional distortion in the Dark Rift. That's probably the "Wall" that Mu passed when he entered the Red Lion's realm.
When it's time to decide, Sinbad of course goes "YES, great idea BUT Al Sarmen = Kou so Kouen has to cut his ties with Al Sarmen! We would even help drive them out". It's the obvious thing for him to do since it makes sense to not ally with Al Sarmen (duh) and also put Kouen under pressure and to the (quite antagonistic looking) defense. Kou instead claims they want to reign over everything and unify everything equally, as was supposedly Solomon's will. Then again, KOUEN isn't the one who says this, he doesn't really say anything other than he doesn't intend to side with Arba/Gyokuen but to return home.......... Well, I guess we can see the problems here, especially since Reim so far hasn't offered any opinion, but they're still in shambles anyway. Still, I'm very interested in what THEY have to say about this whole matter.
AND THEN JUDAL APPEARS. With a new staff. And more importantly, saying he doesn't want to be lumped together with Al Sarmen. Is that really anything new though? Judal never seemed to identify himself much with them and more like doing whatever he wants. ANYWAY. I'm very psyched to see what Judal has to say and what he will do - I usually cringed at his appearances before because he's a little shit that always ends up fucking everything up but I'm curious as to how he'll do it this time or if he'll actually do something unexpected. I've been wondering about a possible change in Judal and what he's been thinking and up to ever since Aladdin used Solomon's wisdom on him some 100 chapters ago, and even more when he appeared together with Hakuryuu after the fight against the medium. He actually seems up to SOMETHING (probably more substantial than "lol war") and I really want to know what that is.
I'm also assuming we'll see Hakuryuu again sometime soon... but I'm not sure whether to look forward to it or just pray.
something else that has been nagging at the back of my mind lately, and has intensified since I looked at the 240 Raws...... I'm worried about Yamuraiha. She's not present at the summit and probably protecting Sindria and it's barrier. I'm hugely worried about her.
