Magi 324
I just had to do this. XD
Magi development
beginnig: oh just two guys going on an adventure in a fantasy arabian world, it's nothing too complicated
middle: the conflict between different states with different economic systems and different views about how to make the world a better place which ends in a war between capitalism and comunism, well this is cool actually
end: a war between gods which are constantly becoming more powerful and I DON'T UNDERSTAND ANYTHING OHTAKA WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS
I am not sorry
Different versions of ugo
“I AM ALMIGHTY GOD”
“Wanna be on top?”
Because of the reply on this post
why does ugo make you uneasy in the latest chapter
If I had to pick one panel I’d go with this one:
But it’s his overall attitude in this chapter. It says a lot when someone is talking with Arba and she looks like the sane one…
Magi 324
now that I see the full chapter I’m getting... very mixed feelings about it.
Mostly about Ugo (gee, who would have guessed???) because I am SO SO HAPPY to see him again and he’s so excited to finally see someone else and have company again (he didn’t even get mad at Arba for all she did, but when does Ugo ever really get mad at people) and happily rambling away about his constructs and systems... but at the same time, the way this is depicted makes it look pretty... creepy? Though if that holds any significance or is just from Arba’s perspective (because it’s when the perspective switches to hers that Ugo seems to come across as off), I can’t tell. Still, it tickles an old fear of mine that being a god just isn’t something that works out all that well for a person, and with Magi’s theme of “rise to the top only to fall” that was touched on again lately... mmmmh... plus, now even Ugo himself mentions that his Magi system didn’t work out the way he intended and that he can’t tell why, even if he foresaw David and Arba’s plan. How does that even work? When did Ugo, uh, “aquire” Ill Ilah, when it was almost summoned during the Magnostadt Arc? (also what happened to the black rukh it dissolved into that Judar took away with him??) How does the switching of ranks in the hierarchy even work? Did Ugo switch ranks with Illah but stayed the “god” of Aladdin’s world himself? How does any of this work?? How could David seperate from Ill Ilah (did he send part of him into Sinbad’s Black Rukh?) and how are they now merged together into a mini-deity again? Is Arba now stuck in the Sacred Palace? Why didn’t she turn into a little blob like Scheherazade did? Couldn’t Ugo have summoned her much earlier (since she is/was a Magi) to save trouble? If this was really the end of David and Arba and Illah as villains, then it was a very anticlimatic (but hilarious) one...
Either I’ve been too out of touch with Magi for too long or things just don’t make sense anymore.
