Hey my fantasy lovers, what would a rogue + mage be called?

I SWEAR that I’ve come across a term for this before but I completely forgot it. I know there’s things like battlemages (warrior + mage) and spellswords (mercenary + mage), but I’m curious if anyone has ever heard of a term for a rogue that uses magic?

I might just have to come up with my own. Hmm...

Magic Classes - Part 2: Witches

Part 2 to the explanation of the magical classes in my WIP modern fantasy story. 

Witches: Witches can be both natural born (a human born with natural innate magical abilities), or spiritual (practitioners of witch-craft). Witches often form covens within communities and aid each other with larger rituals. 

- Natural Born Witches 

Physiology: Witches are human in all physical aspects, however they can be born from other Wielder species, (though this is rare). Natural Born Witches tend to have slower than human aging, however, a common trait among Wielders. 

Magic: Natural born witches often have 1-2 magical Specialities, along with a natural proficiency with spells and rituals that draw power from nature.

- Spiritual Witches

Physiology: Spiritual witches can be members of any species or class and do not need to be born with innate magical abilities. A spiritual witch is classified as any practitioner of the witch’s craft. This includes practices such as Wicca, although not all witches are Wiccans. 

Magic: Spiritual witchcraft works strongly with ‘intent’, which practitioners will attempt to manifest through spells and rituals circulating around aspects of nature, such as the moon, flora, fauna, crystals, etc. Unless accompanied by natural magical abilities in the Wielder, these spells often won’t produce an immediate visible effect, instead working through more subtle manifestations of their purpose.

Magic Class: Every sorcerer is born with a magical class, which determines what their special ability will be. Each sorcerer can only have one magic class and there are cases where they are born classes (Making them restricted to symbol magic). There are nine known classes of magic...

Symbol Magic: Symbol magic is used by all sorcerers. It’s especially essential to classless sorcerers. There are five types of symbol magic.

Ritual

Energy

Blood

Curse 

Summoning 

Special Abilities: 95% of sorcerers are born with a special ability which determines which magic class you’re in. It is possible to be born with more than one special ability. The 5% who aren’t born with a special ability can create their own if they can figure out their magical class, most of the times they're just deemed as classless.

Magical Energy: Every sorcerer is born with magical energy usually between 50 and 100. Magical energy expands natural and stops at some point. The more you train the more magical energy expands.

Jeff Bibik is a Chicago comedian and a magician. Originally from the Detroit, Michigan, area, he regularly performed magic in local restaurants and comedy clubs until 1985 when he moved to Chicago where he continued as a comedy magician in close-up and stage for the public and corporate audiences and he also performs a hypnosis act. Over the years he developed a large repertoire of jokes and gags that serves him well today as the house magician at the Chicago Magic Lounge.

Jeff Bibik pulls no punches this week in sharing the secrets behind getting work in restaurants performing magic, plus he tells lots of stories about working in bars and restaurants with a liberal sprinkling of funny gags, jokes and puns. Author, creator, teacher and grandpa, Allan Kronzek has a lifetime of magic to share. He and his daughter wrote encyclopedic books about the Harry Potter canon and well known in the book business. Living in Sag Harbor, New York, (Long Island area), Allan is a performing magician to the well-to-do community as well as the common folk. He is also an accomplished teacher of magic to youth in his area. He recently completed a book for the public, “Grandpa Magic” which is widely available and is intended for adults to help their children and grand-children to learn magic.

The tree (pun) classes of gaeic magic are

1) phytogaeic

2) petragaeic

3) necrogaeic

A combination of these classes is called mixed natural/gaeic
