Hey guys Happy Holidays like I said and I decided to give another gift.
This is a small scene from a much larger verse I’ve been writing on and off for a while. It’s original work but I think it’s a fun concept.
“What’s he in for?” Amelia asked Janice who sighed as they watched Tim drag the man into the back where the holding cells where.
“He’s a witch who has a bit of spells with drawings. He’s been finding it funny to tattoo people with magical spells without telling them what they were.” Janice shrugged. “Not sure what they’ll barge him for. Forced magical casting? Illegal magic usage? Maybe assault, who knows.” The woman stretched and picked up the file she had been working on before she glowed pink and became tiny, her wings growing out so she could take the now miniature file to file properly. Amelia hummed and went back to carrying the coffees into the station. Her partner- Alex Cunning- was sitting with her face buried into his arms.
“Rough night?” Amelia asked sympathetically, setting the coffee down in front of him. “I got a shot of energetic morning and a shot of ‘moon hangover’ in it for you.” Alex looked up and blinked before flashing a sharp grin.
“You’re a lifesaver and same old honestly. Alphas trying to claim me, me trying to prove myself worthy of being part of any police wolf pack- the usual.” Alex shrugged. “Apparently working in our department still isn’t worth it.”
“I say magical crimes is important for a werewolf pack.” Amelia remarked to Alex who shrugged.
“I’d agree but we’re part of the human division- dealing with people who use the other magic and stuff you know? Not much damage people can do with that.” Amelia snorted, loudly and purposely flicked her fingers for them to grow blue. Alex grinned. “I know. I’d love to see you go up against an alpha one day.”
“One day.” Amelia joked.
