“Duck Duck Oh F-“

In which you (male Mc) get transported into your favourite video game, Twisted wonderland!
But here’s the twist: you get a magic duck.
I’m not sure what book I want to start introducing Mc to the NRC cast in, but I want to start out with them not being involved with the NRC stuff, only hearing about it from others like Chenya or Neige.
They will have their own issues at RSA to deal with, perhaps I might toss in a few references to NBC?
Characters are probably going to be OOC for some of the fic, because I have major writers block and this is supposed to get me out of it.
About the MC
Male MC
Loosely based on Belle from beauty and the beast
Got to the TWST world a year before cannon
Transmigration instead of an Isekai Ten’i or Isekai Tensei (since it’s unclear if Yuu died and ended up in Twst) (correct me if I’m wrong)
About the duck
The duck can speak, but only in the Mc’s head
This duck serves as an animal companion for the Mc, much like how Grim does for Yuu
Obsessed with anything bread.
Kinda guides MC, similar to how magical girls have their Mentor/mascot
DOES NOT GRANT MAGICAL GIRL POWERS
Does however, grant MC specific abilities I will flesh out a little later

Chenya-
Mc pov: Chenya is in short, going to give them a heart attack. They are simply trying to survive in this world, but Chenya seems a little to suspicious of him.
Chenya to Mc: Chenya finds the Mc…interesting. A brand of interesting he’s never encountered before. He knows something is off with this rando who seems to somehow become the center of every big event.
Chenya to the duck-
Chenya and the duck have a love hate relationship. Or rather, a one sided rivalry. Chenya finds It hilarious, but also sees it as a hindrance to his fun because somehow it blocks his every chance at snooping on the MC. Did give the duck a knife though.
Neige LeBlanche-
Mc to Neige-
Mc thinks Neige is a little….naive? Or like, out of touch with the world? And doesn’t really dislike him, but also gets kind of annoyed by his optimism. The duck boy wants to be a pessimist sometimes.
Neige to MC-
He is a whole hearted believer in Mc just needing some good vibes to fix things. He sees MC like a sad puppy in a box. Except the puppy is very snappy.
Neige to the duck-
Awww what a cute duck, look at him waddle around with that knife- wait ducks can’t have those!

Coach Vargas-
Unlike the og story, Mc has inhabited the body of a belle inspired character, but instead of creepy pinning dude, Vargas is just the odd overly supportive Uncle!
Mc to Vargas-
Thought he was over the top, and a little weirded out by how the man doesn’t realise he’s not really [instert name]. How can this man not realise he’s not his actual nephew.
Vargas to Mc-
Ashton vargas isn’t just some meat head, he’s a coach and a teacher, so he knows how to read kids.
He is fully aware that the nephew he once knew is gone. He knows MC is not actually that nephew. But he is also aware that Mc is a child. And he knows children require support and protection, so despite the circumstances and the loss of his original nephew, he will still care for Mc as his own. He will not tell him that he knows because he wants him to tell him whenever he’s ready.
Vargas to the duck-
He thinks it’s adorable. He faintly remembers a duck from a dream he had before the OG [body Mc Inhabits Name] was born. He also appreciates how it keeps his nephew out of trouble!
