I am obsessed with the magic panda Easter eggs on THE GOOD PLACE. Because Jason is the only one who seemed to notice it.

But in the series finale, Tahani has a panda. And I thought it was the magic panda. And she caught it.

But on the podcast, Mike Shur refused to say if it wa the magic panda or if it was just a panda she trained to speak English. And I guess both are impressive things Tahani has accomplished.

this got angstier than it was supposed to, and it’s part of an au? i guess?? idk i thought of a thing.

au where leon’s got some big/important celebrity type job that keeps him on the move and he spends longer than he should in lukas’s town. they both try not to get attached.

Lukas might’ve beeen able to take this more seriously if it weren’t accompanied by Carly Rae Jepsen’s voice.

Of course, he wasn’t convinced that Leon’s aim with this dare was to be taken seriously. It had mostly been to see the apathetic look on Lukas’s face and point out any point where he smiled when listening to pop music. That’s what it felt like, at least.

To explain, Lukas had been issued a dare by Leon. The dare was that, for every catchy, bubbly pop song that Lukas managed to grit his teeth through (and there were very bubbly, and very catchy pop songs on Leon’s playlist) Leon would remove one item of clothing. So far, Lukas was still on the first one.

This idea was probably influenced by the alcohol that Leon and Lukas had both partaken in earlier that night, or it could have just been influenced by Leon’s personality. That made exactly as much sense.

They were in Lukas’s bedroom, Leon’s music was playing from his phone and amplified on a small speaker. Both items were sprawled out on the grey bedsheets, as Leon sat on the edge of the bed.

Leon sat with Lukas patiently, a smile on his face as he waited for Lukas to be done listening. The song ended with another rendition of the chorus (which was beginning to grow on Lukas - no, he refused to say that. It wasn’t growing on him, and it definitely wasn’t going to be stuck in his head for the next week. And it definitely wasn’t painfully cute. No. It was none of those things) and Lukas looked up at his boyfriend.

“I believe we had a deal?” He asked, and as usual, his voice retained it’s monotonous pitch that it always had, though with a hint of anticipation, this time.

“That we did, my good boyfriend.” Leon grinned, “Tell me, what was your favorite part of the song?” He asked as he stood up straight, his fingers on the hem of his shirt.

“The end.” Lukas said, which wasn’t quite the truth. He quite liked the use of echoes, and the fact that Carly could make the mention of cheating sound endearing, but… Lukas Sorensen had too much pride to admit good things about Carly Rae Jepsen, okay? He had limits.

Leon raised an eyebrow, “Really? Because, like, you seemed to be really enjoying the buildup of the chorus, but whatever.” He said, a smug look on his face. Still, he lifted the black t-shirt over his head.

One thing about Leon was that he was undeniably attractive, and he was very, very confident in that fact. Perhaps a bit too confident, for some people, but he was allotted it.

He was thin, and pale, much like Lukas himself, but Leon glowed with confidence, at most points in his life. Including this point, where Lukas was leaning forward in his seat, watching as his boyfriend (Well, at this point, what was the harm in calling Leon that? They had been… friends, for a while, but still… Lukas avoided that word) exposed his torso.

Leon stood with a smile on his face as he tossed the shirt off to the side. He was flushed a bit red, but by all means, he was enjoying this. Mostly enjoying the fact that he was getting Lukas to listen to pop music with the tantalizing prospect of an awkwardly paused-between striptease.

“This kiss, is something I can’t risk.” Leon hummed as he leaned over to grab his phone. Though, bent over was more the term, because Leon was one hundred percent trying to get every reaction possible. Well, as much a reaction as one could get from Lukas.

(This particular reaction was Lukas leaning forward to get a better look, before Leon whipped around with the phone and winked)

“Next up is a sweet tune from the velvety pipes of, like, the queen of copyright. Taylor Swift.” Leon grinned, swiping through his playlist. Lukas raised an eyebrow, a question burning in his mind.

“Isn’t she a country singer?”

Leon made an ‘eh’ symbol with one of his hands, before selecting a song and smiling at Lukas. “Wildest Dreams is, like, my favorite from the new album.”

The song was… nice. It sounded good. Lukas actually couldn’t say he hated this (he would say he hated it, but it was a nice song) and he didn’t have an issue listening to it.

The song was… it hit hard, what with the current situation. With Lukas, and Leon, and… they didn’t want to think about it. The silence was awkward.

Leon seemed to grow tired of his own challenge, because he took a seat on Lukas’s lap, facing Lukas with a patient look as he unbuttoned his shirt.

Leon seemed to have some sense of intent with the buttons, and he did. He was intent on undoing them and getting this shirt off.

And yeah, a part of him hated that he liked so many things about Lukas-

A part of him hated that he didn’t think about taking the buttons off as much as he wanted to look at Lukas’s eyes-

Lukas’s eyes, oh, God. Lukas’s eyes were the bluest eyes that Leon had ever seen, and they weren’t expressive. Leon’s weren’t either. There were other things.

Lukas’s hands found the sides of Leon’s face, and he tilted Leon’s head so that he was looking at him.

Lukas’s eyes were intelligent. Calculating. Beautiful.

They kissed, and Leon couldn’t figure out to do with his hands. He settled for continuing with the buttons, though it was difficult, what with his eyes being closed and his mouth being occupied. Still, he tried.

He thought of all the things he could do with his hands, if the shirt were off. He could run them over Lukas’s exposed chest. His hands could roam pale skin and slowly move down, or he could focus on the kiss instead, and not what would come after, and his hands could be tangled in Lukas’s pale, blonde hair. Or he could pull away, and he could meet Lukas’s eyes. His beautiful, intelligent eyes.

When he blew through this town, Leon wouldn’t see them for a very long time. He wouldn’t even think about them. He promised himself this.

He wouldn’t think about Lukas Sorensen. At all. He wouldn’t have time, or the strength.

So Leon (in a typical, Leon fashion) focused on the buttons.

haha does this make sense??? if it doesn’t it’s because i took a sleeping pill and it’s not kicking in but it is??? idk but quick explanation for sorensen, @im-yongsoo exposed me to the bondevik discourse for norway’s surname so i chose a new last name that i liked. i kept lukas though because i forgot to change it and by the time i realized i was like 1/3rd through the drabble.

i’m sorry if this was bad i’m tired.
