i was looking for forest lighting references and a lot of them had deer in them. Just a comfort piece since I haven't done one in a while. Plus, drawing illustrations of magical and glowy stags are always fun.

Garden of Oblivion by Sieskja
A prompt from one of my Oak Tier patrons for this month’s Patreon reward on was: "Druid Grove" I started with a tree, and some autumn colors in mind, and just sort of went from there. My hope for the Oak tier's existence when I published it was that it'd give me room to play- with *just* enough structure (1-3 word/ 1 phrase prompts) that my brainstorming would have a focus. And it's worked like a dream for the first round (of hopefully many) small paintings (or larger drawings) that I'll end up doing! Ink, Watercolor, Gouache Find me on Instagram and Twitter too!
Why did I thought painting the deer from my book when I’m not good at animals was a good idea... But it turn out great !!!!!

Forgot my pens and inks for Inktober at home so I'm stuck until Sunday with only a pencil and a few pens. So, uh, random.
Inktober, i should have been putting these up every day but i kept forgetting. Basically I'm doing a different mythical creatures each day.
