It's been decades since I last visited SeaWorld in Orlando, Florida.
We did so again tonight for some Magical Dining, a few exhilarating runs on the Mako roller coaster, and of course, the Orca Encounter to close out the day! So. Much. FUN!!! 🍽️ 🎢 🐳
Magical Dining at Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill
The hubs and I were looking for a nice day date and decided to pop over to Disney Springs to partake in Magical Dining at Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill.
Our meals each included an appetizer, entree and dessert so we each picked different items for variety.
First up: bruschetta and Caesar salad.
The bruschetta was served on crisp, fresh ciabatta toast and topped with marinated tomatoes, melty mozzarella and pesto. I devoured my slice, but my husband was a bit hesitant, since he never tried pesto before. His review: “We are definitely getting this next time.” It was the perfect appetizer.
The Caesar salad was lightly and flavorfully dressed, much to my liking, and topped with delectable croutons and crushed red pepper — my husband’s favorite part. We both enjoyed sharing it.
For my entree, I chose the lighter fare of salmon, which was perfectly crisp on the outside and tender on the inside with a glaze most appealing. It was served atop summer ratatouille, which I must confess I’ve never tried but thoroughly enjoyed.
My other half selected the hefty rigatoni with bolognese sauce. He certainly needed some assistance clearing his plate loaded with pasta and a healthy portion of meat sauce, but each bite was delicious.
For dessert, I had the chocolate dulce de leche cake — soft, moist and not overly sweet and served with chocolate chip cookies, caramel accents, strawberries and a small scoop of gelato. For a $3 upcharge, we also devoured the key lime pie, tart and sweet with a buttery, graham cracker crust and topped with whipped cream to balance everything out. Both desserts were amazing, but the key lime won out.
Conclusion: The portions were substantial, especially considering this was a Magical Dining deal well worth the price tag of $35 per person. This might just be our favorite Disney Springs eatery so far and we will definitely make a repeat visit.
I just realized its Magical Dining month and my mood is instantly better.
Disclosure: I was part of a blogger preview dinner at Siro’s via Visit Orlando. All thoughts, opinions and salivation are purely my own.
One of my favorite things as a blogger has to be previews at restaurants. I’m a closet foodie and write vast amounts of beautifully written and appropriately photographed foods. Unfortunately, they are all written in my head so you will just have to make do with my Instagram, Pinterest and posts like this.
But, I digress. It. Is. Magical. Dining. Month! I am particularly excited because I just moved and the thought of not cooking a few meals this month and instead being treated to the surprised that I could find in over 75 restaurants around town sounds…dreamy.
I went to Siro Urban Italian Kitchen and dug the treats, the ambiance and the fact that I could totally book a magical night, have a couple of flights of wine and and then glide right on over to my hotel room. What did we do before Magical Nights, folks? This way you don’t have to invite that one girlfriend that doesn’t drink and gives you the side eye when you do. See, I’m looking out for you.
Here’s your Siro menu for Magical Dining month:

In the mood for something else? Check out the list of restaurants and pick a favorite. But, I really recommend you pick something new. This gives you a way to try foods you might not try otherwise, at a great price!
It is Friday and there will be loads of date nights so, what are you tried and true restaurants on this list and what new foods are you going to be tasting soon?
