Game! For the One-Page RPG Jam going on right now, @magicalflyingart and I collabed on a one-page game, and we leaned full into the theme of this year (transport).

Detour is a GMless, solo-or-group mapmaking ttrpg. Each player takes on the role of a long-haul trucker in a strange and unpredictable land. As you take on jobs hauling freight around the region, problems crop up that force you to rework your travel, and you discover new routes and locations that expand the map. Navigate around your hometowns, investigate situations, and team up to conquer roadblocks. Each game of Detour concludes with a unique map fleshed out with a bunch of locations, connecting routes, dangers, and other details. Please check it out and let us know what you think!

I made a game, I really like how it turned out, and I'd love to share it. Mountain Hike is a one-page rpg with simple rules, an optional GM, and a diceless mode to fold the game into a pocket-sized booklet and play it on a literal walk. Climb the mountain, overcome obstacles, and find your ideal hiking Attitude. Featuring original illustrations by @magicalflyingart

I made another game! Burger Wizard is... well, it's in the name. You're a wizard, and you make burgers. Deal with fantasy customers (and enemies), magical menu items, and the stress of working in foodservice. Built on the chassis of Masks: A New Generation, Burger Wizard adds a Stress track, positive spins on Conditions to make keeping them enticing, and a dynamic NPC system that treats any NPC as a potential customer and/or enemy.

Fabula Ultima

I recently ran a one shot game of Fabula Ultima for my partner’s birthday and made some art for the characters. Meet Mai-yuki magical girl/boy of Star City, Renya dissenter of the tribal throne, Baern Laurent chivalrous templar with a heart of gold, and Zaphkiel Richards swordsman on a mission to find his long lost mother.

This game was genuinely so fun and surprisingly easy to run. Would highly recommend it. I also had a ton of fun making the art for all of these characters. :D

Catvember Day 15: Mushroom Cat
