These little twelve year old middle schoolers
Babies. A cat and a shape shifting peanut creature. I love them dearly. I like REALLY FUCKING LOVE THEM. Throughout the series it was planned from the beginning and we got like the BIGGEST pay off in season three when they finally got together in such a CREATUVE WAY. I loved that it was planned from the start and the episodes reguarding penny and gumball, gumball still behaves like himself, being immature and off the walls with impulsive decisions. Penny still loves him for it. I think their whole dynamic really comes down to them loving eachother for who they are as themselves. Gumball is an arrogant kid who makes crazy decisions and is always emitting chaos around him, penny was deeply insecure and scared abiut her looks and what people would think of her. They both love eachother for their TRUE selves. A line from “Nobodys a Nobody”, “Dont be afraid to come out of your shell too. Gumball: Theres always someone out there to love the real you.” LIKE GUYS CMON THIS IS FUCKING ADORABLE. Okay anyway my point was proven 😁
