“How about a long walk around the neighborhood with a bowl of pineapple and  then we come back to veg on the couch,” Lydia suggests. It was the best of all three options. She really needed to try to get things moving. She didn’t want to be induced but if things didn’t start moving then she wasn’t going to have a choice. “After we veg for a bit there’s something more...unorthodox we could try?” Her OB had said that the same thing that got her pregnant could make her not pregnant.”

“Pasta and tacos might be the sexiest thing you’ve ever said,” Lydia tells him. She kisses him, “I think that sounds great. Give me like...an hour to get ready to go out.” Ayla was with her grandpa tonight and she wasn’t going to let it go to waste by staying on the couch all night even if she really wanted to. She eases up off the couch with a bit of difficulty. She huffs out a breath and rubs a hand over her belly, “I love these two, but man, they are killing my back.” She kisses him and heads off to their bedroom to make herself presentable.

“They’re a little too cozy in there if you ask me. I need them to get their little butts ready,” Lydia tells her husband. The twins were nearly past their due date and it was more than she could have asked for everything considered. “Oh? What did she make for them?” Their toddler was in daycare nearly full time now and loving every minute of it.

“Mm, it better be okay,” Lydia tells him. She shoves at him lightly with her hip and squeezes his hand in hers. She preferred the mountains to the sea, but she was liking this location. The house they were staying in was right on the water and centrally located to all the best things in the city. She hums, “Well if you insist I suppose I can let you foot the bills this time.” She could hardly believe that in just a couple weeks they would be married. No longer fiances or just boyfriend and girlfriend, but husband and wife. She was marrying the love of her life and could a girl really ask for more?

Lydia smiles and nuzzles her nose into their daughter’s hair. She was getting so big so fast. She could hardly believe that shortly they would be bringing two new little baby girls into their home. She was excited to see their firstborn as a big sister. She hoped that she would love her little sisters. She hums, “I thought you might have.” She nods, “It really will. What you got in your hand there, babe?”
