What happened?
The words brought a startled, strangled laugh to Persephone’s lips. What happened? What had happened? She couldn’t pull the answers from her own mind. She didn’t know. She didn’t know when the little girl he remembered had turned into the woman in front of him, but it had happened. And there was no going back.
Persephone didn’t notice that Mal had stepped closer to her until he’d reached out to touch her cheek. She jerked back away from him, her eyes widening for a brief moment. “You can’t save me, Mal — there’s nothing left to save.”

Olwen: What is your favorite flower?
Lola loves flowers but especially any that come in bright colors or really pretty pastels. Tbh you could buy her one of those fake plastic rose things from a gas station and she’d be thrilled just to be thought of.
Freya: Have you ever been in love?
Lola says yes. Once. With a boy that was absolutely no good for her and made a career out of clouding her judgement when they were together.
Aphrodite: What do you think of yourself?
Lola, tbh, doesn’t think that great of herself. A lot of her mind set and self-confidence is stuck back at age six with her awful parents. She never really learned to get over that. She works hard and doesn’t always have time to try to figure out who she is and whether or not she likes herself. She figures it’ll happen one day. For now she’s fine with just being a good person.
Venus: Have you ever had your heart broken?
Yes. By the previously mentioned boy. Also by her parents.
Morpheus: Do you day dream often? Of what?
Lola daydreams a lot. Usually of the future or different ways scenarios could possibly turn out. And Victor.
okay i think my internet is going to end up being shut off today and i'm not sure about when it'll be back on. hopefully sometime soon. i'm moving within the next couple days so at the very worst it won't be on until after i move about wednesday or thursday. i didn't find out the bill wasn't paid until this morning. ily guys if i'm not around still when you get here and i promise i'll be back asap.

She was out running errands when she - quite literally - ran into him. Her coffee ended up spilled down the front of her pristine white blouse and his apologies were ringing in her ears when she looked up at him. All the biting words Persephone had been ready to unleash on him disappeared on the tip of her tongue and she was left blinking in the wake of the thought that he was something special. Well, he really must have been to render her speechless. But, she had no idea at the time how right she was about him or how “special” he really was.
