Let me tell y’all about how much fun I had at Magic City and how mad I am for thinking “no one knew about Dragon Age at the last con so I won’t do my Morrigan cosplay”.

Raphael Sbarge is one of the kindest people I’ve ever met. He took time to connect with me on a human level, and it took root in my heart. I’m so grateful for his kindness.

Also: LOOK AT THESE TALENTED AND COOL DRAGON AGE LOVERS!!!!!! And Varric picked me up for a photo so my niche Varric romance love got validated so hard today.

I don’t think I have actually posted any pictures from Magic City Con and its been a month since the shenanigans went down! I didn’t get many pictures outside of a few room selfies while waiting for roommates to finish getting ready. I honestly got too swept up in the fun. If you’ve never been to Magic City Con, it’s one of the few cons where there is never a dull moment and you are never NOT surrounded by a feeling of family and coming home. I am so introverted and shy but I come out of my shell here for sure. I already can’t wait until next year! Dates for 2019 are June 21-23rd. If you are a Bioware fan, we even have our own track! And we get to run our own panels. My favorites this year were Are you Smarter than a Templar where my team had 2 minutes to dress me as a Templar(which mine won!) and we answered trivia questions and played a Dragon Age version of CAH. Things got Hawkward XD. And Dragon Age Murder Mystery Theater! It was a must see con event and is happening again next year! 2019 can’t come fast enough!

A rare pic of @im-not-great-at-making-up-names smiling as Morrigan. At Magic City Con we ran an "exact instructions" challenge and it was a blast! The audience tried (their best, granted) to write clear instructions for Alistair on his to make a pb&j. Mistakes (delicious mistakes) were made, and Morrigan mocked the hungry Templar. We also brought Dragon Age related food like Sandal's enchantment cupcakes, Sten's "No." cookies, nug and cheese sandwiches, Ferelden Shortbread cookies, and more. Everyone left with light hearts and full stomaches. A great way to kick off the con! I'll see if I can track down some video snippets of our shenanigans.
