Can we be inspired by ourselves wherever we are, just as we are? 💙 Yesterday I had a bunch of projects & lists I planned to tackle, but all I could bring myself to do was watch the sun travel across the wood floor as the afternoon passed me by. When I felt my brain resist the pace my body was setting I knew I needed to be where I was. I got one of my tarot decks out & instead of writing or “working with the deck” I simply allowed the messages in the imagery wash over me at my own pace. As I dropped in the resistance shifted to curiosity & gratitude for being able to listen to what I need. The medicine was already inside of me... I guess sometimes it takes lying on the floor in a patch of blue light from a stained glass window to find it! 🔷 Everything you need is already inside of you, too. When I first started planning my #magickforyogis series I was scared. What if I don’t really know what I’m doing? What if I don’t have anything worth sharing? What if nobody cares? It took me a long time to sit with that fear & do the work. It took being truly IN my practice to realize my fear was actually showing me how important this work is, and that it’s not just okay that I’m doing it, but that I need to be doing it. People need ritual. They need connection. They need magick. I know it’s true because it’s what I need too.
